Reina: My one-shot for Metal Gear Rising. It's inspired by the demo....

If I were to upload this in a one-shot book, who would you rather see for the "hostages" (I don't want to use these guys... They're OCs....) It can be anyone from any fandom. As a joke, I have it that Leo and Takumi are here... For some reason.

Mellie yawned and checked her watch. It had been five weeks since she had joined PMC. It had been two days since she agreed to help in any way she could. And it had been five minutes since Raiden was suppose to rescue her.

To be fair, she wasn't really a "hostage"- it was merely a training session to help train Raiden to defeat enemies without hurting hostages. Or at least, that was the purpose, before Raiden saw the watermelons in the training area and set off to destroy all of the them within the vicinity.

Sammy, the boy next to her who was also a "hostage", frowned. "I really wanted a piece of that watermelon."

"Then go get it," Mellie replied.

"Are you kidding me? I'm not getting anywhere near that psychopath," he retorted.

"Fine. Then don't get that watermelon."

Raiden ran to another watermelon. Using Blade Mode, he cut the watermelon in two and proceeded to chop it into smaller pieces. Sammy sighed. "I want some watermelon- If I wasn't a hostage right bow!"

Mellie sighed. At this rate, Raiden was going to pulverize all of the watermelons, disintegrate the cars, wreck the walls, chop the towers down, and leave before they were going to get saved.

Sure enough, Raiden saw the nearby cars, and began to slice them into ribbons. When he got bored of that, he began to chop the cars with his sword in his foot. Mellie gaped.

"How can he do that?"

"Practice," Sammie replied.

"He's wearing heels," Mellie retorted.

"That's Raiden for you."

Raiden was still destroying the cars. Mellie looked at her watch again. Twelve minutes have passed since the last time she checked.

"This is boring... Want to go get a pizza?"

"Sure. Will Raiden notice that we're gone?"

"Nah," she waved her hand and got up. "You're paying, by the way."

"Hey!" Sammy pouted as he followed Mellie out of the training room.

Fifty-seven minutes later, Mellie and Sammy were munching on the last slices of the pizza, watching Raiden slice the walls up. He probably would have "saved" them nine minutes ago if the giant watermelon hadn't fallen from the sky and if Raiden hadn't also decided to slice up the pizza boxes.

"So... Any plans for tomorrow?" Sammy asked.

"Probably helping Raiden with a mission. If he ever finishes, that is."

"True... He is really obsessed with wrecking stuff. Is he normally like this?"

"I don't know."

Raiden finished destroying the walls. He turned to Sammy and Mellie, ready to "rescue" them when twenty small rubber ducks and four giant rubber ducks fell from the sky.

"Are you kidding me?" Mellie sighed as Raiden went to go destroy the rubber ducks.

"I give up," Sammy sighed as he got up. He put some paper models of hostages with enemies up where he and Mellie were. "Come on Mellie. Let's got watch a movie."

"Okay," Mellie replied. She followed Sammy out of the room- but not before throwing another watermelon or two for Raiden to destroy. "Let's go watch a movie."

Three hours later, Raiden had destroyed all of the rubber ducks, a rubber chicken, a bumber car, twenty treasure chests, ten thousand cups, a walnut, two bowls, and the two watermelons that Mellie had thrown. He walked up to the two paper enemies and sliced them in half without hurting the hostages. He walked off, smiling, ready to destroy anything else that got in his way.
