You got on your bike and rode as fast as you could towards the public library. Finals were coming up and you couldn't afford to miss anymore studying time.

'Would you like to buy som-' A clerk called out as you sped by.

'Next time, Clark!' You called with a wave.

You were turning the corner towards the library when you hit something. Flipping over the handlebars, rather ungracefully, you landed with a hard thud on the ground.

'I'm so sorry.' The man said reaching his hand out for you to take.

You looked up and were mesmerized by the blue orbs.

'I should have slowed down.' You mumbled.

You looked up once you were off the ground and caught sight of your bike.

'Shit!' You exclaimed when you saw your bummed wheel.

'My friends got a place not to far, we can borrow his tools and I can have that fixed in minutes.' The stranger said smiling.

You looked up at him before snapping out of your awkward stare.

'I need to head to the library, thanks anyways.' You said wheeling your broken bike away.

'Can I at least get your name?' The man called out.

You turned around and noticed the cheeky grin on his face.

'(Y/N).' You said.

He ran a few steps before walking in pace with you.

'Clint Barton.' He said sticking his hand out for you to shake.

He walked you to the library until a car pulled up beside you two.

'Barton!' Someone called out as the window lowered.

Clint looked around for a moment until he saw a woman with red hair.

'Nat, I'm in the middle of something.' He said nodding slightly to you.

You suppressed a giggle as the woman winked at him and drove away.

'Your girlfriend?' You asked raising your brows.

He shook his head hastily before getting flustered.

'I'm only kidding.' You said after a moment.

He sighed and dug in his pocket for something.

'Would you like to go for coffee some time?'

You looked from his outstretched phone to his blue eyes.

'I'd love that.' You said taking the phone and punching in your number.
