"I am getting too old for this life." Grandpa said while walking back inside the house.
"Yeah, you kinda are." Cole said.
Grandpa rolled his eyes and looked at Cole trying to figure him out.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Cole asked.
"Your life is something like you can't even do it anything about it because you are too stubborn." Grandpa said.
"How am I stubborn?"
"You are too stubborn to know that you are in a horrible relationship and also you know you have a lot of things going on in your life but you refused to help." Mercurtio said.
"Talking to a therapist doesn't help at all." Cole said.
"You don't have to talk to one, just talk to us instead of shutting people down." Mercurtio said
"I know I have the tendency to do that shit all the time but I can't control the shit I do."
Grandpa sighed. "You got to fix your life before it end being worse for you."
"Like what?" Cole questioned.
"Death." Mercurtio said.
"You know I gotta ask what did you do after you were done being in an gang?"
"Got a real job and the rest is history."
"Hey Grandpa I am done painting." Marcus said as he opened the front door and his clothes had a lot of paint.
"Good now clean my bathroom and make sure it is spotless so I can see my face."
Marcus laughed. "Is that only thing I need to do?"
"No fix the roo-wait no I don't want you to get injured or fall to your death so that is only thing you need to do." Grandpa said.
"Okay."
"Did Marcus get in a fight or something?" Cole asked.
"No he came here and said that he want help me around the house so I said yes."
"Really?"
"Yes it is true."
"Hey Grandpa do you still talk to your ex wife?" Cole asked.
"I told you I haven't seen her since the eighties." Grandpa said
"Yeah I know but like you probably still have her address and I kinda want to meet her." Cole said.
"You actually met her before."
"Really when?"
"I don't know maybe when you were a baby."
"So it doesn't mean I am supposed to remember what she looks like and I know you hate her but-"
Grandpa laughed. "Who said I hated her?"
"Didn't you said that you wanted to kill her but you couldn't because you would never put your hands on a woman." Mercurtio said.
"That was a long time ago brother and besides I don't really mean that shit." Grandpa fired back.
"So can I meet her?" Cole questioned
"Yeah, yeah whatever I really don't care and besides she is not even that much a bad person." Grandpa said.
"So no harsh feelings against you two?"
"You act like I banned her from seeing my kids which is hers as well."
"How do you have her address when you said you never saw her since the eighties?" Cole asked.
"It is the same address that she lived in after we divorced which was in the sixties or the seventies which I don't remember at all."
"Do you need your meds Grandpa?" Cole said while smirking.
A book was thrown at Cole but Cole ducks before it hits his head and the book landed on the floor.
"You are lucky that it wasn't a knife." Grandpa said.

It was now August 25th and the weather in California is the same as always just warm and hot.
Cole's phone was buzzing, and he looked at the contact number then hanged up.
"Gustavo got to leave me alone." Cole said.
"Why do you still have his number?" Spencer asked
"Actually, I don't know why I never deleted his number or blocked him." Cole said.
"Cole have you actually made a choice or you just don't know what to do?" Spencer questioned while chewing on his hamburger.
"I did make a choice but I haven't sign the deal which I am planning to do soon if I get my mind right." Cole said.
"Okay."
"Anyway, do you want to hear something?"
"Like what Cole?"
Cole took out a notebook which had some song lyrics in it and handed it to Spencer who looked at all of the pages slowly.
"All of this lyrics sound great to listen to and one of them probably had some meaning to it." Spencer said.
"Yeah some of them do."
"Do you ever feel like performing one of those songs?"
"Yeah I do but probably in the future."
"I can see it happening in a couple months."
Cole chuckled. "Yeah of course you do."
