Kazmer Viktor Genesis sits quietly behind his desk, thoughtfully stroking his bearded chin with a feather on his desk, casting a dim look at the night rain beating against the windowpane.
"The mafias have once again turned against each other," a young woman's voice says.
"And they won. Again, "Genesis replies, hitting the table with his ringed hand.
"I wouldn't see it as a bad thing ..." a voice tries to say behind him.
"Don't tell me you're starting to approve of their actions," Genesis says bluntly.
"After the war, several mafias had decided to join Lily Black. But I hear ... not everyone is happy with that. And one of those who doubts these decisions is her left hand, called Shadow. "The girl explains quietly.
Genesis smiles quietly and mutters, "The girl covered in the veil of secrets slipping out of Lily Black's grasp ... Why didn't you start right away?"
"Personal past?" The girl asks, raising her eyebrows.
"Let's say I need to pay off some debts ... And who better than Marcello Ferecci's daughter's right hand in the empire?"
"So ... Revenge?" The girl asks, raising her eyebrows.
"Let's just say Kazmer is Viktor Genesis's latest genesis," Genesis explains, turning his eyes.
"It still sounds like revenge," the girl mutters as she looks away.
"It starts with revenge and ends with something much bigger, Alina. I give you my word, "Genesis replies.
"It's tempting. But what would I get for it? "Alina asks, biting her lower lip.
"Freedom," Genesis replies without hesitation.
Alina nods quietly and turns to Genesis and asks, "When do we start?"
"Now. Let the chaos take over, "says Genesis shaking hands with Alina.
"Let the chaos take over," Alina replies, shaking his hand and walking away.
