His Super Soldier // Bucky Barnes

Chapter 198

Maddy and Sam fought off the familiar enemy.... after a few moments Sam managed to knock him out with his wings.

"Bucky? How's it going on your end?" Maddy asked.

There was silence.

Sam and Maddy exchanged a look.

"Uh yeah... you could say that," Bucky spoke up.

"You lost your guy, didn't you?" Sam asked.

"Well," Bucky said.

"Bucky, you had one job," Maddy laughed.

"Hey! Worry about your guy," Bucky mumbled.

"He's knocked out," Maddy smirked.

"That's because it was two against one," Bucky frowned. 

All of a sudden Maddy heard a helicopter starting up on the roof.

"You both realized the chopper is about to take off?" Bucky asked.

"Bucky, do you wanna help?" Maddy questioned.

"Hey! Flying is Sam's job. Not mine," Bucky replied.

Sam sighed and jumped out of the window.... chasing after the helicopter.

Maddy turned on her feet and headed for the stairs.... off to meet up with Bucky.

Maddy walked outside and saw news reporters everywhere, they all had scared expressions.

Suddenly someone threw a bag over her head and carried her away.... Maddy tried getting free but couldn't, the person carrying her was much stronger and bigger.

Finally after what seemed forever, Maddy was thrown to the ground..... the bag was roughly ripped off her head.

She looked around and noticed she was in a dark place....

"Hello?" Maddy asked.

No answer.

"It's rude not to answer when someone is speaking to you," Maddy mumbled.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," a familiar voice said.

"You have got to be kidding me," Maddy frowned.

Standing in front of her was Karli with a smug look on her face.

"What do you want?" Maddy asked.

"You," Karli said.

"Not gonna happen," Maddy growled.

"Then I'll have to kill you," Karli sighed.

"You won't do it," Maddy smirked.

All of a sudden Karli pulled out a pistol and pushed it against Maddy's head.

"You were saying?" Karli asked.

"Wow! a gun...I'm scared," Maddy frowned.

"DON'T MAKE ME SHOOT YOU!" Karli screamed.

Suddenly it got quiet...and soon footsteps were heard.

Karli looked from Maddy to where the footsteps were coming....

"Guess I'll just have to shoot you elsewhere," Karli sighed.

And with that she shot Maddy in the leg....which caused Maddy to bite her lip.

"Such a tough little soldier," Karli smirked, kneeling down beside Maddy.

"I-Is that all you got," Maddy groaned.

"For now. But we have company," Karli said.

The dark shadow area outlined a body and soon walked out Sharon....and soon Sam appeared behind her.

"Karli, Honey...put the gun down," Sharon said.

Karli shook her head and shot Sharon in the stomach.

This caused Sam to charge at Karli...throwing punch after punch.

Maddy looked over at Sharon....who slid her the gun that was attached to her leg.

"This is your only shot!" Sharon mumbled.

Maddy grabbed the gun and rolled over....pointing it at Karli's chest.

All of a sudden a loud bang filled their ears and soon Karli fell to the floor...grabbing her chest.

Maddy crawled to Karli...and rolled her over.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't wanna hurt you," Maddy sighed.

"I...Forgive you," Karli mumbled...before passing away quickly.

Maddy held Karli's lifeless body in her arms before she stood up and carried her outside, not caring if she had just been shot.... She knew the world needed to see who was behind this and how the government could make the world a better place and listen to those who are suffering in the shadows.
