George POV.

"How about George goes first?" Erin suggested, looking at me intensely. The rest of the group agreed, besides Chloe who sat quietly watching.

I gulped, this felt bad.
But my brain was still overrun with confidence due to the drink and it felt like I could easily do it.

So I stood up, and gave a small nod, then the girl with hazelnut hair spoke up, "why don't we get him with Bryce?" She asked, getting a couple excited hollers in response.

The guy who'd been sitting opposite me stood up and began walking towards a door into a downstairs closet. Bryce signalled for me to follow him and I shakily started too, before feeling a firm hand in my shoulder.
I turned to see Clay behind me, looking down at me "where are you going George? I thought you wanted to leave." He reminded me.
"Goin' to play a game with some new people." My words were slurred, I remember having about 8 drinks so tomorrow would be rough.
"What game?" The blond asked raising an eyebrow.

I thought for a moment, trying to remember the name. "I think it's something like... 7 minutes in.... Something, I can't remember exactly."
"Seven minutes in heaven?" He asked, to which I nodded.

The group on the floor had been watching us, or more accurately watching Clay. Looking him up and down, clearly enjoying his looks.
"I think we should probably leave Georgie, you're drunk." The blond said loosening his grip on my shoulders.

"I'm not drunk." I said, pushing him away slightly and turning to the group, I tried to follow after Bryce again but stumbled. I was barely able to walk straight, so I guess that doesn't help me confirm my story.

Clay sighed and rolled his eyes before picking me up and carrying me outside without another word. My emotions kept rushing from one thing to another, angry at the blond for ditching me in the first place, then I was sad I had to leave Chloe and her friends even though they seemed kinda off, and I also felt happy to have Clay come get me.

The blond helped me into the Ferrari and did my seatbelt up for me before going and climbing into the drivers side.
"Why do you reek of beer George?" Clay asked as he pulled out onto the road and away from the house.
"Had'a couple to drink while you were gone. Where were you anyway?"  I asked him back.
"Footballers wanted to try and convince me to join their team." He responded, not taking his eyes off of the road ahead.

"What'cha end up saying to them?"
"I said maybe, they weren't satisfied when I said no and kept trying to change my mind. That's why I took so long."
"Oh. Ok"

I tilted my head to the side, leaning against the car window and taking in heavy breaths with my eyes closed. I'm suddenly aware of how tired I was and wanted nothing more to go to sleep. But I still had one more question, "hey Clay" I spoke up, my voice sounding weak and tired as I pushed myself away from the window.
He hummed at me, signalling he was listening, "what is Seven minutes in heaven anyway?"

The blond took his time thinking of how to respond, "how about I just tell you later."
"Ok Clay. But you have to pinky promise too." I held up my left pinky for him, it seems my drunk self is extremely childish.

Clay grudgingly held out his hand and we wrapped our pinkies around eachother, before I giggled and leaned my head back against the window, watching it fog up with my warm breath.

I didn't remember getting home or anything after that.

Clay POV.

The blue Ferrari had just pulled into the garage and I was just about to step out when I noticed the brunette was sound asleep with his head resting against the window.

I laughed at the sight of him, his clothes didn't look comfortable, neither did the position he was in, but I walked around to his side and opened the door.
He didn't stir when I took off his seatbelt and carried him upstairs to his room and I decided it would probably be better for him if he wasn't wearing the uncomfortable clothes he had on to bed.

Slowly I walked over to his closet and looked around for clothes to wear, one of the things I noticed was he still had the hoodie I gave him the other day. I went back over to him and took off his shoes before changing him, feeling awkward the entire time but ignoring the feeling.
Once that was done I pulled his bedsheets and a blanket over him and turned to leave, but stopped when I felt a weak grip around my arm. "Stay... Please" he mumbled tiredly, with his eyes still shut so I was unsure whether he was saying this in his sleep or not.

I sighed, "ok Georgie I'll stay. Can I at least get changed first?"
He let out a small 'mhm' before letting go of me and rolling over so his back was too me.
When I got to my room and changed I was contemplating going back to him or not, he was drunk and I wanted to look after him. Plus it was also my job.
But surely my job doesn't include sleeping with him while he's drunk, or at all, right?

"Clay. Please come back." I heard him whining through the wall, growing impatient.
I sighed before making up my mind and returning to his room.

The brunette rolled over to face me and seemed happy when I returned. Slowly I climbed into the bed and lay by the edge, but he latched himself onto me and began snuggling against my chest the second I was beside him.

My face flushed red at his action, but I thought nothing of it knowing he was drunk. "You're so childish and cuddly when you're drunk." I mumbled as I rested my head against his.
He hummed in response but seemed to be asleep already.

I already felt bad knowing the hangover he'd have tomorrow.
