Chapter 27: That Word

Steven's POV

I was speechless.

There are no words that came out from my mouth not even a single damn thing.

I hate to admit it but I was really taken aback by those idiot twins.

Silence filled the air until Blue spoke.

"Kung wala na kayong sasabihin pa, aalis na kami. We still need to check on Sunny's condition." with that, they both left the office.

Saktong pagkalabas nila ay tumunog ang cellphone ko.

I suddenly cursed when I saw who's the caller.

I was about to reject the call when my other phone ring.

I unlocked my other phone and I saw that there is a new message.

'Don't you dare reject my call, brat.'

Shit!

That old man is really getting in my nerves.

I didn't have any choice but to answer the damn call.

"Why, hello my dear spoiled brat son." He said in a sarcastic tone.

I just rolled my eyes.

"What do you want now, childish old man?" I asked in a bored tone.

"I want you to come here at the mansion now. I don't want any excuses. Just leave your works to Mr. Enriquez."

I was about to say something but that old man ended the call.

That childish old man really knows how to piss me off.

"Demon, I'll let you handle those students in the detention room. Make sure that everyone will receive their punishments especially those three girls." I said in an authoritative voice.

He just nodded and left the office.

Damn it, old man. Seeing you again makes me more pissed off.

Third Person POV

Nang makarating na si Steven sa mansyon nila ay bumungad sa kanya ang limang butlers at maids.

Sabay-sabay silang yumuko at bumati.

"Welcome back, Masterㅡ" Naputol ang sasabihin nila nang bigla silang patigilin ni Steven.

"Stop. I just came here because of that old man so stop the greetings." Malamig nitong utos at patuloy na naglakad papunta sa office ni Mr. Willford.

Nang makarating na ito sa tapat ng office ni Mr. Willford ay binuksan nito ang pintuan without even knocking.

"Don't you really know how to knock?" Sarkastikong tanong ni Mr. Willford sa kaniya habang patuloy pa rin itong nagtatype sa kanyang laptop.

Ngumisi lamang ng pagkasarkastiko si Steven sa kaniya bago sumagot.

"No, because my dad didn't teach me how to knock." Seryoso ngunit malamig nitong sagot na ikinatigil ni Mr. Willford sa kanyang ginagawa.

Malungkot itong tumingin sa kanyang anak.

"Don't look at me like that, old man." Iritadong sinabi ni Steven.

Napabuntong hininga na lamang si Mr. Willford at muling nagsalita.

"I already knew what happened today."
