Jumping out of the shower I then grabbed my towl off the shelf before wrapping it around my body. Drying my feet on the bathroom mat I then walked over to the door before pulling it open.
Walking into the bedroom Shawn was sprawled out across our bed as he scrolled through his phone, his arms stretched up the air as he done so.
With a smile on my face I then walked over to the bed before sitting down next to Shawn, folding my legs underneath me as I held my towl in place.
Shawn's head immediately turned to face me as he noticed my presence, a smile automatically forming onto his plump lips.
"That was quick" Shawn laughed lightly, putting his phone down next to him as he reached up and pushed my fallen wet hair behind my ears.
"Well I had to be because you still need to have a shower" I rose my eyebrows, my smile a little teasing as Shawn replied with a wide grin.
"I still think you should have taken me up on my offer of showering together" he teased as I rolled my eyebrows, Shawn now moving his fingers through my hair.
"We're never going to shower together Shawn" I shook my head laughing, always having been against the idea which Shawn didn't quite get but still had always respected.
"It saves water" Shawn smiled innocently as he flashed his flirty eyes at me.
Scoffing with laughter I then pushed Shawn's hand off me before getting up from the bed, earning an amused laugh from Shawn.
"Get in the shower, we don't have much time till the others get here" I said as I grabbed my robe from my closet.
"Babe, we have like over an hour" Shawn chuckled as I looked behind me to see him in the exact same position.
"Still, you take forever to get ready" I said before dropping my towl and slipping my robe on, much to Shawn's amusement as his eyes practially buldged out of his head.
"I think you mean you take forever to get ready" Shawn swallowed as he sat up, the redness and beat evident on his cheeks.
"Shawn, you've seen me naked many times before, now calm down and go shower" I laughed as Shawn blushed, a shy smile playing along his lips as he got up from the bed.
"Another reason as to why we should shower together" Shawn grinned, purposely showing all his teeth like a kid before he strutted into the bathroom.
Laughing to myself I watched as Shawn shut the door before I then walked over to my makeup table and began getting ready for the night ahead.

"Come on babe, I'm dieing out here" I heard Shawn sigh from outside the bathroom door as I lastly spritzed myself with some perfume.
"Give me a sec" I replied as I quickly checked myself out in the mirror.
Turning from side to side I admired my outfit, making sure the tightness of the material was hugging all the right places.
I was wearing an off the shoulder plunging red laced dress, which only rested just above the knees. I had a pair of red heels to match and my hair was pulled back into a lick ponytail, the ends of my hair falling into loose curls.
Shawn always loved seeing me red, always having said it's his favourite colour on me. I wanted tonight to be his night and I wanted for him to enjoy himself, and for me to look good for him like he effortlessly does for me everyday.
Being satifised enough with how I looked I then walked over to the bathroom door. Pulling it open Shawn came stumbling in, initially taking me by surprise before I then bursted into laughter.
"Fuck"Shawn cursed in the midst of his fall as I back up so he wouldn't fall into me.
"Were you leaning against the door?" I laughed as my hands went to Shawn's shoulders, pulling him up so he would stand straight.
"Yeah, I really wanted to see you" Shawn sighed as he gradually lifted his head up.
As he did I watched as a smile grew bigger and bigger upon his lips, his eyes widening as they gleamed brightly up and down my body.
"And how do I look?" I shyly smiled as I let go of Shawn's shoulders, his hands going into his pockets as his eyes continued to travel all across my body.
"You look-" Shawn grinned as his eyes returned to mine.
"Absoutely amazing, like beautiful, hot and all the other things inbetween" Shawn continued as he held onto my hands, intertwining our fingers together.
"Is it too much?" I asked as I looked down at our hands.
"Not at all, you truly do look gorgous and I can't wait to show you off tonight" Shawn smiled widely as I looked back into his light brown orbs.
"Well I think you look even better, you need to wear black more often" I grinned as I freed one of my hands and reached up to the collar of Shawn's black shirt, fiddling with it's material.
Shawn was wearing a plain black shirt which was tucked into a pair of black jeans, with some black boots to match.
"If that's what you want then I'll wear black everyday for the rest of my life" Shawn smiled like a dork causing me to laugh lightly.
"No that's not necessary, you can pull off any colour and still look good in it" I said causing Shawn's smile to become wider as he stared heavenly down at me.
"Yeah well you look better than me" Shawn grinned as he lifted his hand up to the back of my head, his thumb resting on my cheek.
"You sure about that Mendes? I mean you look so hot right now" I smiled teasingly up at Shawn as he let out a small laugh, gently moving his thumb along my cheekbone.
"You've always been the stunner in our relationship Elle, I'm pretty sure I'm right" Shawn rose his eyebrows at me.
"I beg to differ" I laughed.
"I don't. Now, we can stand here and continue to debate over who looks better or we can agree that you look hotter than me and go enjoy my birthday?" Shawn grinned as I briefly rolled my eyes, another laugh leaving my lips.
"You look better than me, now let's go enjoy your birthday" I smirked before swiftly walking past Shawn and back into our bedroom.
"That wasn't an option" Shawn chuckled as I walked into the hallway, hearing Shawn's footsteps trail behind me.
"It is now" I grinned as I quickly flipped my head round to see him smirking from behind me.
Turning back round I then headed down the stairs, Shawn on my tail as he began to ramble on with all sorts of compliments.
"If I hear you compliment me one more time then I'm going to repeat how hot you look like a thousand times" I laughed as I reached the bottom of the stairs.
"Oh no, what a terrible thing that would be!" Shawn gasped sarcastically as I playfully rolled my eyes.
"You're so annoying, you know that right?" I laughed as I met went into the kitchen.
"I wouldn't class calling your girlfriend gorgeous as annoying" Shawn chuckled in disbelief as he joined me in the kitchen, him going straight over to the liquor cupboard.
"It is when their boyfriend is too stubborn to admit how good he looks" I tested as I joined Shawn and tool out four glasses from the cupboard.
"I wouldn't call it being stubborn" Shawn grinned as he lightly pushed me with his hip.
Stumbling to the side a little Shawn just responded with a laugh before I looked up at his smirking face.
"Now, let's enjoy a couple of drinks before we go out and get drunk out of our minds" Shawn grinned, wiggling his eyebrows a little as I playfully rolled my eyes at him.
"Happy twenty-first birthday Shawn" I smiled as I handed Shawn an empty glass.
"Thankyou hun" Shawn grinned before taking the glass in his hand.
He then reached forward before placing a kiss against my forehead. Closing my eyes I smiled at the touch of his lips on my skin before he then kissed my lips.
As our smiles widened against eachothers I lifted my hand up to the side of Shawn's face, cupping his cheek as his lips remained on mine.
"I love you" I grinned as our lips parted, our faces remaining ever so close to eachothers.
"I love you too" Shawn smiled brightly.
