We arrival at the airport so they could board the plane. I had to make sure everything was well equipped and kid proof so they won't mess up anything. They have a hotel ready for them cause my kids thought that you couldn't view DC in a day so they talked Cyn and I into the whole weekend. How could we say no? We finally got to the gate and the plane wasn't there. I looked for my phone in my bag and as soon as I got it out Jim was calling.
Erica: Jim it better be good news.
Jim: Things are fine Mena don't shoot me. There was a storm so they made us reroute I know not to cross you sis.
Erica: *laughing* This I know. Ok well I'll just sit here and wit with them.
Jim: Cool I'll be there in 15 mins.
Erica: Ok thanks again.
Jim: Anything for you sis.
*Erica walked to the middle of the crowd to tell them what was going on cause the parents and teachers looked a little pissed.*
Erica: He will be here in 15 mins. There was a storm so it delayed a lot of planes. So just talk to each other for a little while because y'all won't see each other for two days.
Karen: Thanks Erica. Students did you tell Mrs. Mena thank you for this trip.
Kids: THANK YOU MRS. MENA.
Erica: *smiling* Your welcome babies.

My mommy walked back over to us and we was just so hype that all Amy and I did was sit in the living room all day. I know that I'm gonna miss my Mommy and Mama but I will get over it. I get to chill with my sister and best friend. My mommy walked over looking like she was about to cry.
King: Hey Mommy, you better not cry.
Erica: I'm not.
Amy: You either Mama.
Cyn: I'm not. We are fine we are just proud of y'all.
Erica: Yea, cause look at what y'all accomplished by just going with your heart.
Amy: That's what we are suppose to do. *looking out the window* King look its here.
King: Well come on, MJ.
Cyn: Wait who's MJ?
King: Amy.
Erica: How did you get MJ out of that?
King: Jordana Mena. Just switch it around. I had to give her a sister nickname.
Cyn: *smiling* I love it. Well are you gonna give us a hug and kiss.
Amy: I guess we can but we got friends watching.
King: Yea so nothing extra.
E/C': OK.
*Cyn and Erica grabbed them and kissed them all crazy.*
A/K: Mama. Mommy. Stop. That's enough. *pushing away from them*
King: That was rude.
Amy: I know.
A/K: Bye love you.
E/C: *crying* Bye love you too. Be safe.
A/K: We will and stop crying. *walking through the gate*
Amy
We got on the plane and just relaxed while everybody came and thanked us for this trip. I really love my family because this is what family is suppose to feel like I think. They love me like really love me. I have a brother and another brother and sister on the way. I have two parents that tells me they love me everyday. I've never been so happy in my life. My brother grabbed my hand because he knows that I'm a little scared when I get on a plane.
Amy: *holding his hand tight* Thanks.
King: I got you. Remember A & K...
Amy: ...All the way.
King: Ready to see what DC look like?
Amy: Of course. Are you ready?
King: More then ever. I've never been here before.
Amy: Me either.
King: Well just relax and go to sleep and we will be there before you know it.
Amy: *lays her head in his shoulder* OK.
King
The pilot told everyone to have a seat and put our seatbelts on. He told us not to get up unless he tells us too. Everybody did as told and we was just flying smoothly. The flight ladies came around to give us food and drinks. I let MJ sleep because she hates flying even after all the trips we have been on but she's usually under Mommy when we get on a plane. I took a nap and then the teachers came around telling us that we were in DC already. We went to check into our hotel rooms and they told us to get some sleep because in the morning we will be getting up early to eat and get to the White House. I got in the shower like I would do at home then MJ got in after me and we went to sleep.
*The next morning*

We was awaken by our teachers and our VP so we can eat and get to the White House. King and I got ourselves prepared and meet everyone in the cafeteria. We ate and lined up to get on the bus so we can leave here. We met up with Carter and Jade. When we got on the bus it was beautiful. It had tables and a bathroom on it. It was like a mini house on wheels. The four of us sat at the table and talked about what this trip is gonna be like.
Carter: Thanks Amy and King for this.
King: You are my best friend so I couldn't go without you. Jade, you are my sister's best friend so I know she couldn't go with out you.
Jade: This is great I've always wanted to go to the White House.
Amy: Me too. This is gonna be the best trip ever.
Carter: I know and its even better because we are all together.
King: Yep.
King
We arrived at the White House and it was so big. We just stared at it with our mouths open wondering how many people live in it. We saw people standing there with guns and we just wanted to see one but I remember my Nena saying not to go up to no one there with a gun and keep my hands by my side until told otherwise. This is so cool that I had to remember to pull out my camera so I can show my moms. There was a photographer here taking pictures of us and I bet Mama did that. Amy saw him too and laughed.
Amy: I bet Mama did that.
King: That's what I was thinking.
Amy: She's so extra when it comes to us.
King: I know do you know that it was a bodyguard outside our room.
Amy: I know there he go right there. *pointing to the bodyguard*
King: *laughing* Extra.
*The teacher came and gave the kids their passes so they can start their tour. It was great and they was so excited. They walked in a straight line so the guard can scan their passes. They showed them everything in the White House and they let them take pictures. After they finish the tour the guards escorted them to a assembly room where President Barrack Obama came out to speak to them. Everybody went wild because this was not apart of the trip.*
Obama: Hello students and teachers, I know you were not expecting me to come and speak to you all but I got a call from a special person. Where is King and Amelia Mena?
A/K: *jumping up* That's us.
Obama: Come up here right quick.
*King grabbed Amy's hand and they walked to the stage.*
Obama: *kneeling down* Hello King and Amelia.
A/K: Hello Mr. President.
Obama: A friend of your parents called me ant told me what y'all two did to get your classmates here.
Amy: We just wanted to help our friends who parents didn't have enough money.
King: Yea like our best friends and we also think this trip is important. Its apart of our...
Amy: *whispering in his ear* Heritage.
King: Right. Its apart of our heritage.
Obama: Wow that is really amazing and you are right it is apart of our heritage. So for your generosity here is a medal for both of y'all.
A/K: Cool. Thanks Mr. President.
Obama: You are welcome. *standing up* If the rest of you form a line y'all can get a smaller version of there medal.
*They got in line and shook the President hand and took their medals. All the kids had a big smile in their face and the teachers too. All the kids got back on the bus talking about this great day. Then the teachers told them that they were going to an all you can eat buffet. They arrived there and they had half the restaurant reserved for them. They all ate until they was full and tired so the went back to the hotel so they can go to bed. Karen told them that they are going to have dinner in the cafeteria and there lunch will be delivered to there room. She also told them that they will be going to see Disney's The Lion King on ice before dinner. King and Amy got back to their room and called Erica and Cyn.*
Erica: Hello.
A/K: Hey Mommy.
Erica: *sounding excited* Hey babies. Hold on let me put it in speaker so you can hear Mama also.
Cyn: Hey babies.
A/K: Hey Mama.
Erica: So how was y'all day.
Amy: It was great because we got to meet the President.
King: He gave us medals. Thank you so much Mommy and Mama.
E/C: Your welcome.
Cyn: Where is Tim?
Amy: Who's Tim?
Cyn: Your bodyguard.
King: He's in the hall watching our door.
Erica: Good.
Amy: Mama, did you hire a photographer?
Cyn: How did you know I did it?
King:*laughing* Because that seems like you
Erica: *laughing* That do seem like you babe.
Cyn: Well I had too but y'all go to bed so you can get up in the morning.
A/K: Ok. We love you.
E/C: We love you, too. Good night
A/K: Good night.
*They hung up the phone*
Amy: Well I guess we do need to go to bed.
King: Yea we do. I love you sis.
Amy: I love you, too, bro. A & K...
King: ...All the way. Good night
Amy: Good night.
*The next morning*

We woke up by the sounds of someone knocking on the door. We got up and asked who is it and it was Tim our bodyguard. He told us that it was time to get up and get ready to eat breakfast. I got up and tried to wake up King but he wouldn't get up. He's just like Mama when it comes to waking up early in the morning. I went on to get ready then I came out and got King up.
Amy: King get up.
King: Why?
Amy: We gotta eat breakfast.
King: It will still be there.
Amy: No it won't now get up now.
King: Ok I'm up what now?
Amy: Go in the bathroom and get cleaned up.
King: I'm ready to go back home now so I can sleep.
Amy: Well the faster you get up the faster this day will go.
King: I'm going.
King
All of this waking up early is just wrong especially on a Sunday. My uncle said that on the seventh day he rested but they won't let me do that. I got ready and we went to the cafeteria to eat. I saw Carter and he look just like I do but Jade look just like Amy all pumped up.
Carter: Hey King.
King: Hey Carter.
Carter: Your sister woke you up too huh?
King: Yep but I wanna sleep.
Carter: Me too. I'm ready to get back home so I can sleep.
King: That's the same thing I said. Well let's get this day on the roll so we can go home.
*Everybody ate and the teachers let them sleep for a little while longer. King, Amy, Carter and Jade went back to the Little Menas room. King and Carter went back to sleep while Amy and Jade talked and played. Lunch time hit and King and Carter was finally fully awake. Everyone had lunch in their rooms and went to the inside pool until it was time to get dress for the play. They got on the bus and was excited to see this. They was so into it that nobody said anything the whole time and gave them a standing ovation when they where done. They returned to the hotel and was so surprised at how they had dinner set up. It was a waiter that came in to escort them to their seats. After about 3 hours it was time for them to board the plane. King and Amy was smiling from ear to ear at how their trip went.*
King: This was a great trip but I'm ready to see our parents now.
Amy: I know me too. I wanna do something nice for them when we get back.
King: That sounds like a good idea.
Amy: I would also love to come back with just the four of us.
King: Or six.
Amy: I keep forgetting about that. It seems like Mama's been pregnant forever. *laughing*
King: *laughing* I know. Well you know the routine go to sleep and we will be there before you know it.
Amy: Ok. See you when we get there.
*The plane took off and Amy went off to sleep. King just held her hand and put head phones in his ear. He drifted off to sleep thinking about all the fun that they just had. They can't wait to get home and do something nice for their Moms. The plane landed around the time the sun came up and the kids got off the plane running to there parents. King and Amy was looking for their parents but didn't see them. After about 20 mins Erica showed up without Cyn.*
A/K: Mommy. *running to jump on Erica* Where is Mama?
Erica: She was a little busy. She will be back at home when we get there.
King: Ok. Well let's go.

We got in the car and headed home. I was really missing my babies so much I don't really like when they leave for a long time. I talked to Tim while they were gone and he said that they were grown little people. He told me that they were the best kids he has ever had to watch. They was in the backseat talking to each other. I smiled because the bond they got is just so beautiful to see. Like, if I was to tell one that they won't see the other for a few days I think they would die or cry. We got to the house and I had to put on a serious face. I had to tell them...
