*5 1/2 months later*

I was ready to take King and Amy to school but I woke up a little late. Erica has been gone for almost three weeks and I was going insane. I was missing her and so was the kids. I was moving so fast so they wouldn't be late to school but I was so tired from this big ass belly I was toting around. Yes people I am pregnant, it happened right after we came back from our honeymoon Erica was so exicited to start now so we did. The conversation went a little like this.
Erica: Hey beautiful are you awake?
Cyn: *turning over* Yes I am. Good morning my love.
Erica: *smiling* Good morning beautiful. I was thinking about something.
Cyn: What's up?
Erica: I'm ready for us to have a baby now.
Cyn: *looking surprised* Really?
Erica: Yea. Its been almost a week since we came back from our honeymoon and I can't get to out my mind.
Cyn: It's been three days not a week but...
Erica: *looking sad* Its fine if you don't wanna do it I won't pressure you.
Cyn: *smiling* I wanna do it.
Erica: *flashing an award winning smile* Really?
Cyn: Yes let's get everything in order so we can make this happen.

And that's how we got here now me sitting here pregnant. We went to a sperm bank and all that other shit that we needed to get pregnant. One day I was just throwing up everywhere but I just chucked it up to no big deal everybody gets stomach viruses. When it hit about the second week and it still didn't subside so Erica wasn't having it. She took me to the doctor's to see what was going on cause it completely slipped our minds that we was trying to get pregnant. This is what happened at the doctor's office.
Dr.: Mrs. Cynthia Mena. Is there a Cynthia Mena here?
Cyn: I'm right here. Come on babe get off the phone.
Dr: Hello follow me.
*Walked to the back and stepped on the scale.*
Cyn: Damn I gained some weight like what the fuck?
Erica: *laughing* That's all that damn Chipotle.
Cyn: You keep playing and joking.
Erica: Sorry.
Dr: Well Mrs. Mena what brings you here today?
Cyn: Nothing big just been throwing up.
Erica: Stop that down playing shit. She's been throwing up for two weeks straight.
Dr.: Well let's see what we can do. Well let's draw some blood and get a urine sample.
Cyn: Ok.
*Cyn did all the things the doctor asked her to do and her and Erica waited to see what the results was gonna be. They was still oblivious to the fact that they went to a sperm bank almost two months ago. The doctor walked in with a big smile on his face and they looked at him like he was crazy.*
Dr.: Well I have good news or bad news whichever you feel is for you.
Cyn: I'm scared well Doc what is it?
Dr.: You're pregnant.
Erica: *looking like a light finally came on* Oh shit.
Cyn: *smiling* That's right we did...
Erica: Yes we did. Oh my god baby. We are having a baby.
Cyn: *kissing Erica* Mmm... Yes we are.
Dr.: Well I can see that's good news. So you are about two months along so that's morning sickness you are experiencing.
Cyn: Well I'm ready for it to go away.
Dr.: It might or you will have it for the whole pregnancy.
Cyn: I hope not. Well thank you Doc at least I know now.
Dr.: Well let me get you your discharge papers and you can get out of here.
E/C: Thanks.

Sound crazy doesn't it for us not to remember that we was trying to get pregnant in the first place. I guess that we got tired of thinking that it wouldn't happen cause we took a pregnancy test like a week later but nothing I guess it was defective. Well we will finish memory lane a little later I gotta take my kids to school.
Cyn: KING AND AMY LETS GO!
K/A: COMING!
King: We gonna be late Mama.
Cyn: I know I'm sorry. Mama is still not feeling well.
Amy: Being pregnant seems like it sucks.
Cyn: *under her breath* You have no idea.
Amy: What you say Mama?
Cyn: Nothing let's move.
Cyn
I got them to school about ten mins late. I was really feeling bad today and I wanted to call Erica about it but I didn't want to worry her. I knew she was gonna FaceTime me soon so I was gonna have to tough it out. Whoever said that pregnancy was a beautiful thing lied but don't get me wrong for some people it is, just not me. I was ready to get this over with right now cause my back was killing me and I gained a lot of weight so this was not comfortable at all. And yes people I'm bitching cause I got the right to. This is horrible and I must have been tripping when I said I want to do this three times. When I got in the car my phone went off and I looked at it and it was Erica FaceTiming me so I put on a brave face and a smile.
Erica: Hey beautiful, how are both of my babies?
Cyn: *rubbing her belly* We are fine. How are you I miss you so much when are you coming home?
Erica: I'm coming home in two days. I should be there before your appointment.
Cyn: That's too long I need you home now I'm lonely and I miss you so much.
Erica: Aww baby I miss you too but just count the hours and I will be there before you know it but I got to go. I will call you back when the kids get out of school so I can talk to them. I love you. Muah.
Cyn: Ok I love you, too. Muah.
Erica
I disconnected the call and turn to see Albee putting my bags in the car. What Cyn doesn't know is that I will be home today. I can't wait to see my baby I haven't seen her in three weeks and I was having Cyn withdrawal. Albee came over and told me that we are ready to go so I jumped in the car on my way to LAX airport. I love Cali but Miami is where my family is so I love there more. We got to the airport and I looked over at Albee staring at me.
Erica: Why the fuck are you staring at me?
Albee: Cause Cyn made you soft as shit.
Erica: What the fuck are you talking about?
Albee: Because I have never known you to turn down making money but lately its been all about The Menas and you just been cheesing all damn day since you knew you were going home.
Erica: *laughing* That don't make me soft that makes me a family man.
Albee: *laughing* You are a fucking trip you know that?
Erica: Yep.
Albee: Well I just glad that you are happy and in love with someone that love you back.
Erica: Thanks man but stop getting all mushy on me you are the one that's soft and trying to rub that shit over here.
Albee: *laughing* Bitch please.

When I got off the phone with Erica, Mary call me and said she was 20 mins from my house so I needed to get home. I arrived home just as she was pulling in the driveway. I was wondering what she was doing here. I love when she comes around but she is gonna be mad when she finds out that I didn't tell Erica I was feeling bad. I grab the bags from the trunk that I didn't grab yesterday. When I walked in the house she grabbed the bags out of my hand.
Mary: What the hell are you doing? You know damn well you are not suppose to be carrying anything heavy.
Cyn: Its not heavy and hello to you too.
Mary: Oh yea, hello sweetie. What's going on with you lately?
Cyn: *lying* I'm great just waiting on Erica to come home.
Mary: Bitch you are lying your ass off. What the fuck is going on with you?
Cyn: Ok well for the past two weeks I've been feeling a little out of it and my back is really killing me to the point of no return.
Mary: Damn baby what did Erica say?
Cyn: *stuttering* W-Well s-she said t-that...
Mary: What the fuck Cyn? You didn't tell her?
Cyn: I didn't want her to rush home because of me.
Mary: What the fuck are you talking about? You are her wife, her very pregnant wife, that's what the fuck she's suppose to do. When do she get home?
Cyn: In two days, please don't call her Mary.
Mary: I won't for now but if it gets any worst I'm calling. Since she's not here now I'm staying here to keep and eye on you.
Cyn: But I...
Mary: No buts Cyn now let me put these groceries up and you go and take a nap. I don't wanna hear no lip from you now go do what I said.
Cyn: Yes ma'am.

I was ten minutes away from home and I couldn't wait to see my baby's face when she sees me. I pulled in the driveway and I saw Mary's car. I wonder what she was doing down here. I walked in and called Cyn's name but no answer and I know she's here because her car is in the driveway. I called her name again and Mary popped out of nowhere.
Mary: Shh...*whispering* Hey Erica I thought you was coming back in two days.
Erica: *whispering* I wanted to surprise Cyn and why are we whispering?
Mary: Oh, because Cyn just fell asleep and I know she's tired.
Erica: Oh ok. Where is she?
Mary: In the bed.
Erica: Ok thanks Mary for everything you have done for her.
Mary: That's what family do.
Erica: True.
Erica
I walked in the bedroom and looked at my baby lying in the bed just glowing. Pregnancy looks good on her and I can't wait to have like ten kids with her. I stared at her for about ten more mins and then climbed in bed with her. I wrapped my arm around her and she snuggled into my embrace. I kissed her on her. forehead and stared at the ceiling just thinking about how my life has changed. It's like the best feeling in the world to just be happy and in love. As I was thinking I kept feeling Cyn move and I was guessing that the baby was moving a lot. She jumped up out of her sleep and screamed. I grabbed her and she started fighting me so I knew she had a bad dream. I held onto her until she woke up fully.
Cyn: *breathing hard* Erica... What are you... doing here? Don't tell me Gina called you?
Erica: *looking concerned* No, I was here to surprise you but what the hell was that?
Cyn: The worst dream.
Erica: Well you need to start watching some cartoons before going to bed instead of them scary movies.
Cyn: But scary movies always help me go to sleep.
Erica: Yea whatever but why would Gina call me?
Cyn: *trying to get out of bed* Oh no reason.
Erica: *pulling Cyn back* Don't fucking play with me Cynthia. What the hell is going on?
Cyn: Its nothing.
Erica: CYNTHIA!
Cyn: Ok damn, I've been feeling bad lately and I've been having uncontrollable back pain that's all.
Erica: Cynthia, are you fucking kidding me? How long?
Cyn: *under her breath* Two weeks
Erica: You got one more time to keep playing with me. How long Cyn?
Cyn: Two weeks.
Erica: I must be getting Punk'd. You've been going through this for two weeks but you... *let out a hard breath* Let me calm down. MARY COME HERE.
Mary: Hey Mena what's up you look pissed?
Erica: Did you know about this?
Mary: Found out today and I went off on her about not telling you.
Erica: Can you pick up the kids today we are going to the doctor's?
Mary: Sure.
Cyn: But I don't wanna go... *looked at Erica's face* I'll get my bag.
Erica: We'll be right back.
Cyn
We left out the house and Erica was 95 hot. She was talking to herself and cussing at herself. It was scaring me I guess I should have told her but I hate hospitals. She looked at me with a look of disappointment and it killed me inside. I just looked out the window with tears in my eye and about 30 mins later we made it to the hospital. I guess she could tell that I was crying cause she grabbed my face and gave me a genuine kiss.
Erica: I'm sorry for being mad at you and yelling. Its just that I just want you to be well and taken care of.
Cyn: I know and I'm sorry for not calling you. Its just that I really hate hospitals and I hate to bother you with all my pregnancy stuff cause I know all I do is bitch.
Erica: I know you hate hospitals but its what's best for you and the baby. You have the right to bitch all you want pregnancy is not always so shiny and happy. I don't care about you bitching just let me know when something is going on because you are my wife and I would die if something bad was happening and I didn't know until it was to late.
Cyn: I'm sorry and it won't happen again.
Erica: Good now let's go see what's going on.
Cyn: Ok. I love you.
Erica: *kissing Cyn* I love you, too. *kissing Cyn's belly* And mommy loves you, too.
Erica
I gave my wife another kiss to calm her nerves and we walked in hospital hand in hand. We signed a hell of a lot of papers then about 40 mins later we was called to the back. We sat in the other room for 20 more mins. Every now and then I looked over and would see Cyn wincing in pain.
Erica: You better tell them everything because it could be something with you or the baby.
Cyn: Yes mommy.
Erica: *smiling* Mommy my ass I'm not playing with you Cynthia.
Cyn: Ok babe I will damn you always gotta be so bossy.
Erica: I sure fucking do so you better do what I say Anna Mae.
Cyn: *laughing* You are a fucking fool.
Erica: I know I'm a fool for you Mrs. Mena.
Cyn: No you... *Dr walked in*
Dr.: Hello... Oh, The Menas I didn't expect to see you here again. How is everything going?
Cyn: Well I have been having excruciating back pains and been feeling bad like really sick body going numb sometimes.
Dr.: Wow well let's run some blood work and see what's going on.
Cyn: Ok.
*The doctor drew some blood and told Cyn to change into a gown so he can check on the baby. Then a female nurse came in to check on the baby and Cyn was moving because of the pressure of the lady hand. After about 25 mins the doctor can back in with a neutral look on his face.*
E/C: What's going on Doc?
Dr.: Well I have good news, neutral news and bad news. What do you wanna hear first?
E/C: Bad news
Dr.: Well the bad news is...
