We got on our plane and just played and opened everything. Erica looked at me like I was one of the kids. She was laying back smiling at us play with everything that opened. I will admit that I was having a big kid moment but don't judge me everyone has moments like this. I laid down with my wife and kissed her so passionately. She always goes all out for her family and I love that about her. We arrived in New York and my whole family was out there waiting for us. It was family I haven't seen in a long time. A tear came down my eye when I saw my Nena and Uncle. They haven't seen me in two years so to see them now was a blessing.
Erica: Do you like my other surprise?
Cyn: *tears coming down her face* I love it so much. *turning to kiss Erica* Thank you baby I love you so much.
Erica: I love you too now go and see your family.
Cyn: Ok.
Cyn
I was in tears greeting my family and friends. I saw Mary in the back and I couldn't wait to see her. I haven't seen her since the engagement party. I love when she's around cause she acts just like me. I couldn't believe that my baby would do all of this for me. I guess she knew how much I missed my family. All of my siblings was here besides my brother which made a tear roll down my eye. I know that he's watching over me so I'm not too sad. My son ran up behind me and held onto me for dear life. I looked down at him and he looked like he was scared.
Cyn: *bending down to talk to him* What's wrong baby boy?
King: This is a lot of people and I don't know all of them.
Cyn: You will this is my family so its your family too.
King: Well for now can I just walk with you cause Mommy's not making it no better.
Cyn: Yea sure give me your hand. Do you want me to introduce you to your other god mommy?
King: Yes but don't let go of my hand.
Cyn: Ok. *walking towards Mary* Hey Mary girl, I missed you so much.
Mary: Hey baby girl I missed you too. Is this my King?
King: *peeking from behind Cyn* Yes. Who are you?
Mary: *kneeling down* Don't be shy. I'm your god mommy Mary. Your mama is my best friend.
King: *looking up at Cyn* Really, Mama?
Cyn: Really. go give her a hug.
King: Ok. *walking over to Mary* Do you know my mommy?
Erica: *walking up behind Cyn* Yes she does. Hey Mary where have you been?
Mary: Hey Erica, I've been working.
Erica: Well you know the rule. You are suppose to come and see us 4 times a month.
Mary: What the hell? That's a lot.
Erica: You can make it happen.
Mary: Ok, just for you Erica.
Cyn: Hold the hell up, you stole my mom, my sister and my best friend.
Erica: *wrapping her arms around Cyn's waist* Now you see how I've been feeling lately. But it's ok I still love you though.
Cyn: But I didn't stea... Never mind. I love you too.
Erica: Had an epiphany huh?
Cyn: Maybe.
King: So, you have to past the test then.
Mary: What test baby?
King: The god mommy test.
Mary: Well come on and let's get started.
Cyn: Wait, I thought you was here for me.
Mary: Nope, I was here for my King.
King: Check.
Cyn: Check for what?
King: That's a check because she's here for me and not you? *laughing* Sorry Mama.
Mary: I guess I'm getting graded now gotta go. Come on buddy.
King: Come on Amy, you could help. See you later mama and mommy.

My baby was so happy seeing her family that she was in tears. I love how King was giving Mary a test it was very cute. Cyn's Nena called me over to talk to her. I haven't met her yet so this is going to be interesting. I walked over to her and to my surprise she gave me a hug.
Erica: What was that for?
Nena: That's for you bringing my granddaughter to see her family. That's also for making her happy. We need to talk so we can get to know each other.
Erica: You're welcome and anytime you ready.
Nena: We are going back to my house for a cookout so we can do it there.
Erica: Ok.
Cyn
I look over at Erica and she is talking to my Nena. I hope Nena is not giving her a hard time cause I know how she is. I am so happy right now that I can't even breathe. My life is better than I expected and I know that it is just beginning. My mommy came over to me and said that we are about to go to Nena's house for a cookout. I was about to grab my things off the plane until Erica grabbed my hands.
Erica: What are you doing?
Cyn: Getting my things.
Erica: You won't see my wife carrying any bags. I got that handled.
Cyn: Aww that's so sweet baby.
Erica: Now come on, cause I have to talk with your Nena.
Cyn: About what?
Erica: She said she wanted to get to know me.
Cyn: Wow, I guess Nena has changed.
Erica: Why you say that?
Cyn: Because she is usually mean to the people we date.
Erica: We're not dating we are getting married in one month.
Cyn: *smiling* I know its almost here and I am so ready to be Mrs. Erica Mena.
Erica: *smiling* I know I can't wait either.
Erica
We got to her Nena's house and the first thing you see is pictures of Cyn and her siblings as kids. I picked up a picture and took a picture of it with my phone. She was just so cute with her little tutu on. I laughed at some of the pictures of her. I was so focused on the pictures that I didn't see her Nena come up beside me.
Nena: She was very photogenic.
Erica: *smiling* I see why she stay in front of the camera now.
Nena: I don't like to beat around the bush so what is your plan with my granddaughter?
Erica: *looking up shocked* Um, what do you mean?
Nena: Well are you gonna marry her or is this some little game? Don't mean to come off too strong I'm just very protective of them.
Erica: I understand but I don't know if anyone told you but we are getting married in the Vineyard next month.
Nena: What? This is the first I've heard of this.
Erica: I'm sorry about that but you know you are invited.
Nena: Thanks baby. So do you have children?
Erica: Yes I have a seven year old son. His name is King.
Nena: That's nice I would like to meet him.
Erica: I will grab him for you when he gets in here.
Nena: Ok so tell me how much do you love Cynthia?
Erica: *smiling thinking about Cyn* Well...
Nena: *smiling* Your smile says it all.
Erica: I can't help it. Every time I think about her I smile. She is everything to me. She's the reason life is possible for me. I have been in the worst of relationships and didn't think love was possible for me anymore but Cyn is the fix to that problem. She makes me smile just by her being happy. If I didn't have her or my son I would not want life to go on. *tears rolls down her face as she thinking about how much she loves Cyn*
*Cyn walks in the living room where Nena and Erica are talking*
Cyn: Baby, why are you crying? Nena, what did you do?
Nena: I didn...
Erica: She didn't do anything but make me smile.
Cyn: Then why are you crying?
Erica: *pulling Cyn close to her* Because I was thinking about how much I love you. They are tears of joy not sadness.
Cyn: Aww, baby, that's so sweet. You're gonna make me cry.
Nena: Well before you do that can you tell me why am I just finding out you are getting married?
Cyn: What? You should have got a invitation I sent you one.
Nena: I didn't get it. James check my... Never mind I'm gonna kill your cousin.
Cyn: Ok, Nena, you know I would never forget about you.
Nena: I know. So, Erica can you see is King back yet?
Erica: I can but he should be, right, babe?
Cyn: Yea, he just walked in. KING COME HERE.
King: Yes, Mama?
Cyn: Come here baby.
King: *walking over to Cyn* Yes mama.
Cyn: Say hi to your Nena. This is my grandma.
King: *holding onto Cyn* Hello Nena.
Nena: Hello sweetheart. How are you today?
King: I'm fine, do you want to meet my friend Amy?
Nena: Sure.
*King went to go find Amy and Erica was called off my Cyn's aunts*
Nena: I see he calls you Mama.
Cyn: Yes he does. That's my baby, he also calls mommy, Nana and Lisa, Tía.
Nena: Aww he must really love you girl. You have a son at 21 huh?
Cyn: Yes he loves me a lot and yes I do. Wouldn't change it for the world.
Nena: Look at you I guess that's what Erica is talking about.
Cyn: What are you talking about? What did she say?
Nena: She said that as long as you are smiling and happy she is happy.
Cyn: *smiling and blushing* That's my baby she keeps me happy Nena. I just couldn't imagine life without her or King.
Nena: Wow she said the same thing about you and King.
*King walked back in without Amy*
King: Excuse me, mama have you seen Amy?
Cyn: Did you check out front with your cousin Heaven.
King: No, Heaven is here? Nobody told me she was here that's messed up Mama.
Cyn: I'm sorry I thought you saw her. Well go out there and see her and your other cousins. Nena will meet Amy later ok?
King: Ok. See you later Nena. See you later Mama, love you.
Nena: See you later.
Cyn: Ok buddy love you too.
Erica
I was talking to Cyn's Nena first then some of her aunts that I haven't met yet called me over. Now I see what Cyn was feeling when she had to meet my family all at once. I wish this on no one because its like a police interrogation. I was asked questions back to back like I was on trial for Cyn's heart. Her aunt Casey was like the captain at the station.
Casey: So Erica, have a seat and let's talk.
Erica: Ok, shoot.
Casey: Well you know I saw Love and Hip Hop and I didn't like the way you treated my niece.
Erica: Neither did I and we have moved on from that.
Casey: I see that y'all are getting married. This better not be just a joke for you to hurt her again.
Erica: Look no disrespect I didn't come here for a interrogation. I came here because my wife haven't seen her family in a while and I know she was missing y'all. So with that said I think this conversation is over.
*Erica was hot and pissed she went outside to get some air and Cyn walked out behind her.*
Cyn: Babe, what's wrong with you? Who the fuck do I gotta curse out now for getting on my wife's nerves?
Erica: *smiling* I'm fine just needed to get out the interrogation room.
Cyn: With who?
Erica: Your aunt Casey.
Cyn: Come with me. *pulling Erica in the house*

I was tired of people treating her like a fucking suspect. They should be treating her like she is apart of the family. Every couple goes through problems it's just that some of ours was displayed on TV. Let it the fuck go we did and that's why we are getting married. I went into the dining room and called everybody around the table.
Cyn: I need everybody's attention right now. Mommy and Nena excuse my mouth but people are gonna stop interrogating my motherfucking wife. She is here because she knew I was missing you all but she will not be scrutinized for some shit that has past. Now if you are not asking her questions to get to know her then shut the fuck up with everything else.
Erica: *pulling Cyn back* Ok baby that's enough.
Cyn: I don't think they got it I have more to say.
Erica: *pulling her outside* Ok bae, breathe, just breathe. *kissing Cyn* Are you calm now?
Cyn: Yea I am but kiss me again.
Erica: No problem.
Cyn
My baby kissed me so passionately that I didn't want her to stop. I was pissed that they was doing that to her. I should have warned her about my Aunt Casey but I thought that she would behave. She held onto me outside and made me calm down. I just laid my head back on her while she wrapped her arms around me humming a song in my ear. I was just really happy to be in NY and to be here with my wife and son made it even better. I was just in a loving bliss wrapped in my baby's arms. My friend Justine walked up on the patio when she saw me standing there. I didn't notice her until Erica stop humming and said that someone was talking to me.
Cyn: Oh, hey Justine, How have you been?
Justine: I've been great, how have you been?
Cyn: I've been great, just living and loving life.
Justine: That's all me can do.
Cyn: Where are my manners? Justine this is my fiancé Erica. Erica, this is my friend Justine.
Erica: Hello, nice to meet you.
Justine: Hello, nice to meet you too. Wow, Cyn you are getting married?
Cyn: Yes I am next month.
Justine: Well congratulations and I will see you around.
Cyn: Thank you and yes you will.
Erica
Cyn's friend walked off and we went back to doing what we was doing before. I was humming Mariah Carey's Always Be my Baby in her ear. She just swayed her body back and forth with mines. We just need our us time no matter who was around us we needed to drown everybody out and just focus on us. I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned and saw Cyn's uncle and I was thinking no more questions please.
Unk: Hey guys.
Cyn: Hey Unk.
Erica: Hello.
Unk: Erica, I want to be the first one to say I'm sorry for the way my family has acted. They are just overprotective of Cynthia but that is no excuse for the way they acted. I'm glad that she has found you because she smiles all the time because of you. So all I'm trying to say is welcome to the family.
Erica: Thank you very much for that. I know that people have their doubts about me with Cyn but I love her more than life itself and wouldn't care what people say if I could still spend my lifetime with her. I'm very overprotective of her too because she's my soul. *kissing Cyn on the cheek*
*Cyn's family heard what Erica said and came out the door. A few of them were crying and Cyn was crying also.*
Casey: *crying* I'm so sorry for being an ass. I can see you love my niece more than I thought you did. I guess you can't believe everything you see and hear.
Unk: *smiling* Look at what you did Erica. Got everybody crying on this happy day even your wife is crying.
Erica: Sorry didn't mean too. *looking down at Cyn* Turn towards me. Don't cry baby, you know how much I love you.
Cyn: *crying* I know but that was beautiful so I couldn't help but cry.
Erica: *hugging on Cyn and whispering* I'm ready to go to the house now.
Cyn: Then let's go.
*King and Amy ran up just as they was about to call them.*
King: Mama can... Why are you crying Mama? *he looks around at everybody else* What's wrong with everybody?
Cyn: *kneeling down to hug King* I'm fine baby these are tears of joy because I love you, mommy and Amy.
Amy: *hugging Cyn and crying* You love me?
Cyn: Of course baby girl. You are like apart of my family now.
King: *crying* I love you too Mama but don't cry. I don't like to see you cry. *wiping Cyn's face*
Cyn: *wiping King's face* Ok well if you and Amy stop then I'll stop.
K/A: Deal.
Cyn: Now what was you coming to ask me?
King: Can we stay over Heaven's house tonight?
Cyn: Sure you can just ask mommy to grab y'all clothes for the night.
King: Ok thanks Mama and no more crying.
Cyn: Ok.
King: Ok. I love you mama and mommy
E/C: I love you too baby.
King: *running towards Heaven then turning around* That goes for you too mommy and Nana, no more crying.
*Everybody just smiled at King for being so caring. Erica smiled cause she knows how much he loves his Nana. Cyn's Aunt Casey came and gave them a hug and told Erica she apologize for judging.*

We gave everybody hug then we gave King and Amy their clothes and went home. I was so proud at how my baby stood up for us. I knew my family was judgemental but I didn't know they was so harsh but I'm glad it was resolved. We got home and just laid on the couch. I got on top of my baby and just listened to her heartbeat. It was music to my ears and very soothing. She wrapped her arms around me and I didn't want her to let me go. We got up and got in the bathtub. We just laid there with Erica's arms wrapped around me and she continued to hum in my ear. I just love the small sentimental things she does. We got out of the tub and just laid in bed naked. We drifted off to sleep in each others arms.
*The next morning*
Erica
I woke up looking at my beautiful wife still sleeping. She was just so beautiful and peaceful. I kissed her and she started to wake up. She looked at me with the most beautiful smile and my soul just lit up. She kissed me so passionately and I started moaning.
Erica: Good morning beautiful.
Cyn: Good morning sexy.
Erica: Not that we got that out the way, you can finish what you started.
Cyn: And what's that?
Erica: This.
Cyn
Erica pulled me on top of her and kissed me so passionate and rough that I couldn't help but moan. I love my baby so much and after yesterday it put a stamp on it. We was in rolling around on the bed naked when someone knocked on the door.
Erica: Who the fuck is that?
Cyn: I don't know. Shouldn't nobody but family and close friends know that we are here.
Erica: I'll get it. You wait here so we can finish.
Cyn: I'm about to start in two minutes.
Erica: Don't make me hurt you?
Cyn: Well hurry.
*Erica ran to get the door. She opened it and...*
