Cher stops walking when she notices you climb out of your car. She hadn't seen you around and figured you must've been the new girl that she heard was going to transition from (hometown).
"Dionne, who is that?"
Dionne was too distracted arguing with Murray to take notice of who Cher was talking about. Murray stops arguing with her for a second to look over who Cher was talking about.
"That's (y/n). I had her in my class yesterday. I think she was just there to talk to the teacher about switching her to another class. Her first official day is actually today."
Cher just stopped listening to him as you got closer. She wanted to introduce herself but found it unable to do so when no words were able to come out of her mouth as you passed by. Dionne, Tai, and Murray just laughed when they saw Cher struggle to say something. The entire time they've known her, they've never seen her like this. Almost like she had a crush.
"Cher, you okay?"
Tai, finally asks, making Cher snap out of her thoughts.
"..yeah. I was just thinking about my test. We should go. We'll be late."
They don't say anything, simply just follow after her.

Cher hadn't even talked to you but she knew that she liked you. She loved your style and the way you carried yourself. She just knew the two of you would make good friends. That's if she could just talk to you. For some reason, no words would come out of her mouth every time she's tried talking to you and it was annoying.
