Wynonna had been furious since she learned that she had been meant to be tied down to you. Her dad's letter had told her had briefly mentioned about soulmates since they were practically nonexistent. She couldn't help but laugh at the fact that she had the worst luck. First, she was stuck being the heir and now she was soulmates with a. total stranger. Even worse that said stranger was a half demon/half angel.
"Doc! Doc! Where are you!"
Doc comes out second later out of the barn house besides the homestead as he hears his name being called.
"Wynonna, what is it with all that screaming? Is everything okay?"
Wynonna doesn't say anything, simply just walks up to him and pulls him in for a deep kiss. Doc tried to stop the kiss to try to get her to talk about what was going on but she ignored him and continued making it with him. Not one to deny Wynonna, he continued with the kiss.

The burning sensation increased tenfold as you reached the homestead. As soon as Nicole parks the car, you open the door, almost falling out in the process. Being this close to Wynonna was hurting you and you just knew what the burning sensation was for. Nicole helps you stand again, allowing you to finally see Doc and Wynonna kissing against the barn house.
"(y/n), this is how Wynonna deals with things. Just give her some time."
You give Nicole a small smile and turn around to start walking back to town. You needed a drink. Preferably something strong.
"I don't blame her. She's right. I'm just a stranger. I need a drink, can you recommend a nearby bar."
Nicole and Waverly looked at each other, struggling to decide who they should deal with. In the end, Waverly goes to Wynonna and Nicole goes with you.
"Let me come with you. It's a few miles from here."
You sigh and climb in the passengers seat. You would've flown but the pain was making it impossible to use your wings.

"Wynonna....Wynonna?.....Wynonna!"
"What?!"
Waverly takes Wynonna's hand and drags her to the house.
"(y/n) just told you that you're her soulmate. Aren't you the one saying that everyone you've been with has never felt right. This is what you've been waiting for."
"Not this! I meant falling in love with the person. Getting to know them and all that couple shit that you and Nicole do. I want what you and Nicole have. Not having someone just show up one day and tell me that we belong together."
Waverly sighs and pulls Wynonna into a hug.
"You're right. She's told you that she respects your decision and I do too. If you don't want to try a relationship with (y/n) then tell her. She's hurting."
