Lena looked at the box with doubt. She had heard about you and how you helped people with their unwanted emotions but she could never understand what you gained from this. Not wanting to waste time as she was in a hurry, she placed her hand inside and winced as blood was drawn. At the prick, she felt the happiness disappear. She didn't deserve and didn't want anything to do with it. Before anyone has a chance to recognize her in such a sketchy area of the city, Lena leaves.

You felt a strange burst of an emotion you had never felt. People would always come to donate their sadness, unhappiness, anger and anything that could inconvenience anyone but never happiness. This was the first time anyone had ever done so and you weren't sure how to feel. The feeling was foreign enough that you just wanted for the next person to give you their unhappiness. But the longer the feeling lasted, the more you wanted of it. Just as you had come to like it, it was replaced by sadness. The feeling was quite adequate as you were sad to see it go. You had known what every other feeling was like but never happiness. The entire time you've been alive, this had been your first time feeling happy. You were sad to see it go. When anger was donated, you were furious that it had been taken away so quickly.

Happiness being donated was so rare that you hadn't expected for the feeling to come back the next day. Nor the next day. You couldn't understand why someone could give this feeling up so you decided to confront them.

On time, you spot the same woman that has been coming in the early morning to donate the happiness. Before she has a chance to put her hand in, you stop her.

"Wait! Don't do that!" She jumps at your voice. "You're the one who has been donating your happy emotions."

Lena is embarrassed but still nods at your question.

"Why? I can't imagine why anyone will donate this feeling. If I felt like this, I would never let it go."

"What do you mean?"

You furrow your eyebrows at her. Everyone that came to donate their emotions were well aware about your story. This woman didn't seem to know.

"The emotions that are donated are not destroyed. They transfer to me. I'm unable to feel any emotions and to make up for that, I made it possible so that people could transfer any emotion to me. I was desperate to feel anything, it didn't matter if the only thing I could feel were negative emotions. I didn't expect anything else until you came along. You're the only person that's donated their happiness. Why?"

"You don't know who I am?"

You try to figure out who this woman might be but can't seem to place a name to her face.

"I do not."

Lena looks around, finding that the alley was empty.

"My name is Lena Luthor. Sister to Lex Luthor. The man who murdered 30 human beings in his attempt to destroy Superman. I don't deserve to feel happy."
