Yoongi walks up to Tae in the hallway. "Sup."
Tae shrugs. "Nothing."
"Heard you fucked Jimin."
Tae frowns. "From who?"
"Jungkook."
"I didn't fuck Jimin. I haven't even kissed Jimin."
"You sure?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Aight." He walks away and pats Jungkook's shoulder. "Jimin didn't cheat on you."
Jungkook grins slightly. "Thanks for asking him."
"No problem."

Jungkook sits down next to Jimin in physics. "... If I give you another chance, how do I know that you won't go behind my back again?"
Jimin's eyes grow wide. "Another chance?"
"Answer the question."
"It wasn't worth it. It totally wasn't worth it."
"You get one more chance."
Jimin wraps his arms around him and cries against his arm. "Thank you thank you thank you–"
"Don't make a big deal about it."
Jimin gives him a quick kiss. "I promise I'll never talk to Tae ever again."

Tae listens to their conversation from across the room.
'I promise I'll never talk to Tae ever again.'
He feels a pang in his chest. Maybe love just isn't in his future. Maybe he doesn't deserve to be loved by anyone. Not even his own parents.
