Jimin continues to cough throughout the weekend. He shivers randomly and feels very fatigued.

Jungkook comes to pick him up on Monday and sees that he's in a pretty bad state. Just in case, he pulls his shirt up over his mouth and nose.

"Baby, stay home today. You look weak and really ill."

Jimin sits up and shivers. "I'm fine. I have a quiz today. I don't want to miss it."

"You can make it up eventually. Just stay home."

"No. Kookie, I'm fine. It's just a small cold." he coughs and Jungkook winces. His throat sounds horrible. "Baby..."

"Trust me. I'll be okay."

"What if you're contagious?"

"If I was contagious, you would be sick too."

"I guess you're right..."

Jimin is taking his quiz in Math when his cough starts back up again. He tries but he can't hold it back.

He coughs loudly and his eyes grow wide. There are tiny drops of blood on his paper. He stands up and walks over to the teacher. "Hey, I coughed up blood."

The teacher looks over. "You what?"

"I coughed and blood came out. It's on my quiz. Can I get a new copy to start over?"

"No."

"But there's blood on this–"

"Go to the nurse."

"But my quiz–"

"I'll exempt you. Just go. And take the quiz with you."

Jimin nods and walks over to pick his backpack up. He walks to the office and calls Jungkook. He should be in lunch right now.

"Hey. Aren't you in the middle of class?"

"I'm going to the nurse."

"Finally giving up and going home to rest?"

"My teacher's making me."

"They probably got sick of the coughing."

"No, I coughed up a bit of blood so they said I should go home."

"... Repeat what you just said. I don't think I heard you right."

"I just coughed up a little blood."

"B L O O D blood? Actually?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Uh, I'm on my way to the nurse–"

"Kookie, my mom will pick me up. You should stay."

"But you're dying!"

"No I'm not. It just means there's a bit of inflammation in my lungs."

"That sounds scary and life-threatening."

"It's not. Maybe I have mild pneumonia."

"Pneumonia can kill people."

"I'm on my way to the nurse. If I was gonna die, I would be in a horrible condition. You don't need to worry. I just thought I'd tell you."

"Please keep me updated. Now I'm really worried."

"I promise I will. I'll send you hourly texts about how I am."

"Okay... I love you."

Jimin freezes. Did he just say the L-word?

"Oh shit. Wow I said that out loud in front of all of my friends. You can ignore that."

"No, it's fine. I, uh... I love you too."
