Chapter 85

Okay, let's go!" Pervy Sage said pointing forward. Naruto and I just stared at him. "Let's go? Are you kidding me? Quit acting like a stupid little kid, will ya?" Naruto said. Pervy Sage and I looked at him with a suspicion look. "What the- Why are you in such a bad mood?" Pervy sage asked. "Well, what do you think? We're still in the middle of my training. You said there were three steps to learn, right? Well, we've only learned two of them. Now quit holding out on us. "Naruto said. 

Pervy sage laughed "Relax. You two can work on the third one while we're walking." Pervy sage said. "What? Are you serious?" Naruto asked. He looked at Pervy Sage with a weird look. I looked over at him to see that he was blowing up a balloon. "A balloon?" Naruto asked. "Here." He tossed two balloons towards us. We both caught one. "Okay. So what's the deal?" I asked. "An ordinary balloon?" Naruto asked.

"The first step you two learned was rotation. The second step was power. The third and final step for you to master is this." He held up another balloon. Naruto and I watched closely waiting for something to happen. 

After a while Naruto started to yell "What do you mean by this already?" Pervy Sage started to laugh and said "It looks like I'm simply holding an ordinary balloon, doesn't it?" "What do you mean, looks like? That is all you're doing, you pervy weirdo." Naruto said. "Let me try again. Over on my left this time." He held up his left hand "Let's see what's really happening inside the balloon." The ball that he used to hit that guy appeared on his hand. 

Woah.. the chakra in his hand is spinning wildly and getting faster, but it's still perfectly round. "Take a look at that. Like a small typhoon." Pervy sage said. "So then what you're doing in your left hand is also happening in the balloon on your right?" I asked. "That's right. What do you think? Nifty, huh?" Pervy sage said. Not just nifty.. awesome is what it is. 

"Now listen. In the third step you've gotta draw up 100% of what you've learned so far. And then maintain it. In other words, keeping the power and the rotation of your chakra at their maximum. First visualize a thin membrane just inside the balloon, then compress the chakra inside it." Pervy sage said. "Hey, I think I get it now! So this stage is about keeping up the power and rotation that I learned, only this time without letting them pop open a delicate balloon!" Naruto shouted.

"Well, you're starting to get the hang of this. Good!" Pervy sage said. Naruto was smiling until he looked like he thought of something "So wait. Hold on a second. Why exactly am I going through all this trouble?" Naruto asked. Pervy sage turned around and threw the balloon. Naruto caught it "I'll show you." Pervy sage walked over to a tree. "Watch closely. After the first two steps of training, you get this." Pervy sage lifted his hand and that ball of chakra appeared again. He shoved into the tree and it made a circle pattern in the tree. "Woah.." Naruto and I said

"Then, once you've mastered the third step- you get this!" The one in his hand looked different from the one a moment ago. He shoved into the wall and it cut straight into it. "If you can keep that small typhoon the size of your palm, then the energy will be unstable to disperse. It'll spin faster and faster. And it's power will become more and more compressed. And its destruction power will reach its max. So, there you have it." 

I looked at the balloon I had. I already know this won't be that easy, but I got through the other steps. I held it and gathered my chakra. I opened my eyes and pushed my hands on different spots on the balloon. I held my other hand above it and jumped when it popped. "There's no cutting corners here. Get your power and rotation to 100%, and then maintain them." Pervy sage said.

How.. how do you do this? I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but I had no clue it was going to be like this. This third step- it's on a whole other level. "I told you, didn't I? This is an A-rank technique. It's a highly advanced ninjutsu, kid." Pervy sage said. Naruto and I both didn't say anything. "Okay. That's enough explaining for today. You two can practice on the road." Pervy sage said. "Hey, hold on a minute. Do we have to rush? Give me a chance to-'' Naruto said but got cut off by pervy sage. "We've already wasted enough time waiting for you two to recover your strength. There's no guarantee that Tsunade will stay in his town much longer."

"Wha- yeah, but- but-" Naruto stuttered out. "It's not like she's gonna bump into some old acquaintance and start reminiscing over the good old days. Come on. Let's go." Pervy sage said. "Alright.." Naruto said, putting his hands down in defeat.

"Tsunade's impatient, and extremely quick to anger." Pervy sage said. A loud pop sound coming from beside caused me to jump. Naruto fell back on his back. "Come on, kid. We don't have time for knocking back. If we don't hurry, who knows where that wayward woman will scamper off to next." Pervy sage said. Naruto shot back up and pointed at him "Listen, you pervy sage. That's no way to talk to an apprentice who's working his butt off!" 

"Oh, zip it. Just calm down, will you? Tsunade's the priority here." Pervy sage said and began to walk off. "Son of a- well, how do you like that?" Naruto said. If pervy sage actually put this much effort into something like finding this lady, well she must be something.

"Eh, sure. I know the young lady." The man said. "You're sure?" Pervy sage asked. "Yeah. Think she said she needed to win back the money she lost. Said she was heading over there." The guy said. I noticed one of the gambling guys shuffled over to Naruto and started to ask him to play. I know that Naruto wouldn't want to and that he's busy trying not to pop the balloon. I'm only not doing that right now because I don't want to embarrass myself when I get scared when the balloon pops. 

"Heading over there? Well, where do you mean?" Pervy sage asked and the guys smirked. "So, you gonna tell me where?" Pervy sage asked. "Sure, but don't expect it to be after in a place like this." The guy said holding up dice. "Oh.." Pervy sage said. The guy threw the dice into a cup thing and shook it. He slammed it on the floor so we couldn't see what it was "Let's make a deal. If you win, then the information will be free. But if you lose it's going to cost you a thousand." The guy said. "You're on, son!" Pervy sage said and sat down as I stood behind him.

"So what'll it be? Han, or cho?" The guy asked. "Okay. Here we go." Pervy sage said. I would say han.. "Gimme cho!" Pervy sage said. Oh, well alright. "Remember, if it's han, I win. Now then, let's see what we got." The guy lifted up the cup to see two and five- han. Welp, there goes Pervy Sage's money. A pop noise caused me to jump.

A strong sudden wind hit us "What the heck is going on?" The guy asked leaning over. "There goes my thousand." Pervy sage said. I looked down at the dice and saw the strong impact Naruto made caused them to flip over to make four and two- cho. I smirked realizing that Naruto failing on his attempt just saved pervy sage with his fail. "What do you know? Looks like I win, doesn't it?" Pervy sage asked chuckling. I looked down at him with a funny look. You talk as if you actually won and Naruto didn't save you. "Huh? Ugh." The guy said looking at the dice.

Naruto and I stood outside waiting for Pervy Sage. I was holding the balloon and trying to get it started. Pervy sage walked out "Well, great. Where am I supposed to look now?" The balloon Naruto had popped.

"Well I'm stumped. That woman isn't anywhere to be found." Pervy sage said. Naruto was blowing up another balloon but I was working on the balloon from before. Pervy Sage and I were walking when Naruto randomly stopped and walked off. We stopped and watched him as he walked over to a lotto booth. "Huh? Scratch-off cards?" Pervy sage asked. I wonder if he'll win if he buys one?

Naruto held up his wallet happily. "You're cuter when you're chubby, aren't you, froggy? Yes you are." That one flat pancake wallet is now filled with money. I can't believe he actually won. Pervy Sage stopped walking and I stopped next to him while Naruto continued. "Hey, Naruto. Come on. This way." Pervy sage said "Huh? Alright!"

I started to feel this odd feeling again. It's very familiar, but I don't know why. Naruto ran up to Pervy sage and I. "Hey, hold on a minute. Where's this castle you were talking about?" Naruto asked. We all looked up "It's gone." Pervy sage said. Gone?
