"They're putting up a Christmas tree at the hospital."
Jerome smiled as he walked around St. Jude's. They'd invited him to meet some of the kids in preparation for another charity stream. He'd been told they were decorating a tree in the hospital, and he wanted to help out.
Jerome finally came upon the room with a little girl kneeing on the floor. She was in front of a small tree, decorating it with little ornaments.
"Hey, you want some help there?" Jerome asked, squatting down next to the young girl. She had a bright pink flowery beanie on her head and a bright smile on her face.
"Sure! You can put the star on top!" She said enthusiastically, pointing at the star next to the tree. Jerome picked it up and carefully placed it on the tree. Maybe it wasn't the actual tree, but it was still nice nonetheless.
