"I can't believe we're meeting Emma Watson!" you shrieked in excitement. Your girlfriend of three years surprised you with tickets to Comicon just a day ago and there you were, on line to meet your biggest idol. "I mean, Hermione Granger was like my first official crush."

"Mine too," Charlie admitted, grinning as you moved forward in line. You were representing your Hogwarts house that day, dressed in a (slytherin/gryffindor/ravenclaw/hufflepuff)-themed cardigan and knee high socks with its correlating mascot while Charlie was representing Ravenclaw. "When I heard she was in town, I just knew I had to get us passes in."

"I really owe you one," you planted a quick kiss on her cheek, "You're the best girlfriend anyone could ask for."

"I try," she shrugged, her cheeks burning bright red. The line was moving much quicker and the anticipation was practically killing you.

"Do I look okay?" you asked, anxiously combing your hair down with your fingers and adjusting your button up.

"You look beautiful as always," Charlie smiled. She just couldn't take her eyes of you. That look on your face when you were really passionate about something, that's the look that immediately made her realize she was in love with you.

She didn't know it, but it was for that exact same reason that you loved her in return. She was the only person who understood your interests and quirkiness. Whenever you were with her, you could geek out at your heart's content.

"Thanks," you returned a smile. "I really shouldn't be so nervous. It's not like this is my first meet and greet."

"It's understandable though," your girlfriend assured, "This is our favorite actress."

"Do you think she'll like us?" you asked.

"Why wouldn't she? We're awesome."

"You've got a point."

"If it makes you any less nervous, just picture her in her undies," Charlie said.

"Oh that won't be a problem," you winked.

"Actually I take that back," she chuckled, "I hope I'm the only one you're picturing in that pretty little head of yours."

"Don't worry. I've practically got the image of you with Princess Leia buns imprinted in my mind forever," you laughed.

"Hey, that was one time!"

"Next!" a man with a clip board and headpiece yelled.

"I think that's us," Charlie inhaled nervously, leading the way toward the actress of your dreams. With each step, it felt like mere reality was slipping from your grasp. She looked even better in person. Pictures just didn't truly do her justice. You wanted to faint right then and there.

"Oh my gosh, it's really you," you were at a lost for words when your eyes landed on Emma Watson, in the flesh. She was dressed in an elegant white blouse and black skirt with her hair wrapped up. "I can't believe it."

"Trust me, this is in fact happening," the actress smiled, "What are your names?"

You were so in shock that for a moment, you forgot who you were. Charlie couldn't help but chuckle as she greeted Emma for you, "I'm Charlie and this is my girlfriend, (Y/N). We're really big fans of your work."

"Awe thank you so much," Emma smiled, "It's nice to meet you both. So how would you like to take the picture?"

Charlie smiled, reaching into her backpack for something, "I actually brought a prop for this picture that you'll definitely be familiar with."

You stood on Emma's left, still basking in her presence. "Is it bad, I'm screaming inside?" you finally spoke, causing the three of you to burst into laughter.

"If it makes you feel any better, you wouldn't be the first," Emma said, chuckling as well. Your girlfriend seemed so calm and confident, you envied her for it.

Charlie set her bag aside and leaned over to Emma, whispering something into her ear with a smile. She nodded and took a step back, her face giddy with enthusiasm, causing you to arch a brow. Charlie took a step forward and got down on one knee, holding out a brown sorting hat.

You gasped, throwing your hands to your mouth in shock. "Is that what I think it is?"

"(Y/N), these three years with you have been the best years of my life. I've never met anyone who understands me like you do. Everyday is an adventure and I never get tired spending it with you. Whether it's binge watching Game of Thrones, letting me read The Hobbit to you on rainy days, or going to Comicon to meet amazing people like freaking Emma Watson, I want us to spend the rest of our lives being the two geeks we are," Charlie spoke, "Now if you could put your hand into the sorting hat, we can let fate decide that future for us."

There was a hot spark of flash that came from the front of the room, most likely the camera guy taking a picture of this wonderful moment. You nodded, feeling tears of joy stream down your cheeks as you reached your hand into the hat. Your hand grasped something cold and you pulled it out to reveal a shiny diamond ring. "Will you marry me, (Y/N)?" Charlie asked.

Nodding, you slipped on the ring and she stood up, throwing the hat aside where her bag was. "Friggin' yes!" you shouted before pulling her face in for a long and passionate kiss. You could hear a round of applause coming from the rest of the room as you kissed your now fiancee and soon to be wife.

This was everything you could have wished for and more. You pulled away for a moment to breathe, keeping your hands cupped around her cheeks. "Thank goodness because that would've been really awkward if you said no," Charlie laughed, then leaned in for another chaste kiss.

"Congratulations!" Emma clapped excitedly.

"Thank you," you both responded and stood together to take another picture, both standing on either side of Emma Watson. You and Charlie exchanged glances from across and couldn't help but smiling. This was the woman you were going to spend the rest of your life with, your fellow geek in crime. You couldn't be happier.
