Today was your nephew's seventh birthday and as much as you loved the kid, you dreaded going. And not for any normal reason, like maybe you hated kid's parties or were just to tired. No, you wished that was why. The real reason was because of one mischievous archangel in particular. Gabriel.

"Why can't I go?" Gabriel whined, "Kids love me!"

"Gabe, we talked about this. My family doesn't know what you are and we can't risk them finding out," you told him for probably the hundredth time.

"I won't do anything this time, I swear!"

"Last time you said that, I had to explain how two live chickens labeled '1' and '3' ended up at my sister's wedding," you glared at him.

He laughed, "Okay, you gotta admit. That was hilarious. You guys spent all day looked for a chicken labeled '2'."

"Yeah, and you ruined my sister's wedding!"

"Sugar," he took your hands in his, "I'm sorry. Can you please just let me come along to your nephew's birthday party?"

You looked at his whiskey colored eyes. They were wide and begging for a 'yes.' Sucked for him, because he wasn't getting one. "No."

"Hey (Y/N)! It's so good to see you," your sister smiled, pulling you into a tight hug. "Where's your boyfriend?"

"Oh he couldn't make it. Work and all," you shrugged, wanting to change the subject.

"Yeah sure. Work..." you heard a familiar voice say. You glanced around frantically, looking to see where it came from.

"Looking for me, sweet cheeks?" Gabriel stood before you, waving with a grin. He stood beside your sister, who didn't seem to notice him.

"What are you doing here?" you scowled at him.

"Um...it's my son's party...?" your sister looked at you with furrowed eyebrows.

"Wait.." you glanced back and forth between your sister and Gabriel. "You don't...?"

"No one can see me but you, sugar," Gabriel grinned.

"You've got to be kidding me," you groaned.

"What's wrong?" your sister asked.

"Nothing," you waved off, "So where's the birthday boy?"

"He's in the backyard playing with the rest of the kids," she said with a smile. "I'll take you to him."

"Don't mind if I come along too," Gabriel wiggled his eyebrows, following beside your sister.

You sent glares his way as you walked to where the party was. Your look of anger turned to one of joy once your nephew came running your way. "Auntie (Y/N)!" your nephew smiled as he wrapped his arms around you, his head leaning on your stomach.

"Hey kiddo," you smiled, messing his hair, "Happy Birthday! I got you a gift."

He pulled away with a wide grin, "What is it?"

"Open it," you said as you handed him his gift.

He took the nicely wrapped box. "Thank you Auntie (Y/N). I can't wait to see what it is," he smiled. As he opened the lid, his smile faded once he got hit with a fresh creamy pie.

"How the-" your eyes were wide with shock then turned to anger once you saw the grin plastered on Gabriel's face.

"(Y/N), what the hell?!? He's seven years old!" Your sister sent you a glare as she tried to comfort her now sobbing child and wipe all the cream off his face.
