Chapter 38

"Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today for the union of Ryan Tedder and Kimberly Alvarez. Will the best man please give the groom and the bride the rings?" Said the priest. Brent pulls out a small box with the rings and hands it to us. "Ryan repeat these words as you place the ring on Kimberly's finger." Continued the priest. 

"I, Ryan Benjamin Tedder, take you Kimberly Johana Alvarez, as my lawfully wedded wife. With this ring, I thee wed in sickness and and in health, for richer, for poorer, as long we both shall live. Till death do us part." Ryan says to me as he slide the titanium wedding band into my finger.  

"Now Kimberly, repeat these same words as you place the ring on Ryan's finger. 

"I, Kimberly Johana Alvarez, take you Ryan Benjamin Tedder, to be my lawfully wedded husband. With this ring, I thee wed in sickness and in health for richer, for poorer, as long as we both shall live till death do us part." I say placing the other titanium wedding band his finger. 

"By the powers invested in me and the the City of New York, I now pronounce you man and wife. Ryan you make kiss the bride." Says the priest happily. Ryan lifts up my vail and whispers to me, "You're finally mine." He pulls me in and we kiss. "I was always yours. Since the day we met." I say to him as we pull away. 

Ryan grabs me by the hand at the reception and walk down the aisle while everyone congratulates us. We go to our parents who were sitting together. "Mom. Dad this is Kimberly." Ryan says excitingly. "Nice to finally meet you." Says Ryan's stepmother as she surprised me with a hug. "I thought you were shorter." Said Ryan's father. I turn to Ryan and he said, "Hey don't look at me." And laughs. "Ryan we need ya up on stage." Yelled Drew and Eddie. 

Ryan kisses me on the cheek and says, "See ya later Mrs. Tedder." And jumps up on stage. "Thanks for coming to our wedding this song I wrote back for our "Dreaming Out Loud" album. Tonight I'm going to dedicate it to the love of my life, Mrs. Kimberly Tedder. The spotlight suddenly shines on me and people applaud. The music starts going and I see Ryan in his element:

The song ends and Ryan says, "alright everybody we'll be back in a few cause I gotta dance with my wife. Man I never get tired of saying that." Everyone starts to laugh. He hops of stage and runs towards me. "I love you Kimberly Tedder. Has a nice ring to it don't you think?" He says as he puts his hands around my waist and I put my hands around his neck and we start dancing like everyone else.
