I can see one day Matthew talking to Dika about how silly it is about some of the American past and looks at her and than remembers she is American. You know until she reminds him for a good deal of her life she was Russian and than an American Territory and didn't have any say in any of the things Alfred did until 1959... in which most people ignored her.
