Monday
Betty and Calista were at the Stonewall Prep in Jughead's room, as he was explaining to them what happened this morning.
"I have to write the best damn Baxter Brothers novel these Stones have ever read by Friday, which coincidentally is the Ides of March. You know, Stonewall Prep celebrates the holiday by throwing a big blowout in the woods." Jughead stated as he walked around the room.
"Okay, well, then... Why don't you write about what's been happening to you here at Stonewall?" Betty suggested. "Like a roman-la-clef, let's say."
"Yeah." Jughead nodded. "Like a prep school thriller."
"Sure," Calista nodded.
"We could start with my..." Jughead began.
"Start with Moose's arrival." Calista interrupted.
"Exactly," Betty agreed.
"You two are brilliant, you know that?" Jughead stated as he kissed Betty and hugged Calista before he went to work on his laptop.
Thursday
It was Thursday and Jughead was back home.
He was sitting on the kitchen chair with Calista and Betty on each of his sides, FP and Ace were drinking coffees in front of them.
"Mr. DuPont is turning out to be worse than any of his villains in his precious Baxter Brothers series," Jughead complained "It's clear he wants me expelled."
"Can't let your name be tarnished by these, these trust fund brats." Fp stated "Hell, it's my name. It's our family name."
"If I let my reputation be destroyed by a baseless accusation, my career as a writer is going to be over before it even begins." Jughead pointed out.
"There's no way that's happening, Jug." Betty denied. "I think I have an idea."
"Does it involve a lie detector?" Calista asked.
"Bingo." Betty confirmed.
