"Never."
"Elijah I'm serious." I whine
"Love we are almost there just hold my hand."
I grab ahold of his hand tightly because one I can't see and two I CANT FUCKING SEE! Elijah blindfolded me before we could get out of the car. I knew we were still outside because I could feel the sun on my face also there was grass underneath my feet.
We walked for a minute more before he let go of my hand but I could feel him come up behind me placing his hands on my shoulders "are you ready?"
"Yeah, show me." I say all giddy
He unties the blindfold and I adjust to the lighting. I've never been on a date before it was always just going to someone's house and fucking so when he said date I was excited
I've always imagined what it'd be like to go on one and Elijah didn't disappoint. "Oh my god." I say walking further into the grassy space.
"You like it?"
"Like." I scoff "I love it."

"When did you have time to do all this?"
"I didn't." He says grabbing my hand leading us to the blanket
"I woke up really early and went out to buy everything but I didn't have time to set it all up so I called in a favor."

"I hope that's okay. I would have done it myself but I didn't want to risk you finding out."
"No! It's fine really I'm not mad. She's your friend, and besides I've never had a picnic before."
