Morning.

I walked into Hope's room and saw her talking to a guy.

I leaned against the door frame "oh really?"

Hope's head shot in my direction "Riri. What are you doing here?"

Me "the better question is; what the hell is he doing here?"

I looked at him "who are you?"

Guy "i'm Roman and who are you?"

Me "I'm Ariana, Hope's step-mom. What are you doing here, Roman?"

Roman "i-i-i-"

He looked at Hope for answeres.

Hope looked at me "he's visiting me"

I  raised an eyebrow "then why did your little friend didn't come in through the front door?"

Her jaw dropped "Well-"

I chuckled "You're a miserable liar, princess. But don't worry. You're soon gonna be able to lie like a true Mikaelson"

She started to blush embarrassed. But i just can't help it.

Me "i don't think your father would like having a boy climbing through your window like a intruder. If i think right, your father wouldn't like you having a boyfriend at all."

I looked at Roman "you're lucky you still have your head on your neck"

His eyes widened.

Hope looked at me embarrassed and whispered  "Riri, please, stop. I thought you were the cooler one"

I nodded "I am, princess, that's why i'm taking you to your father"

Her eyes widened "what? really?"

I nodded "yes. or did you change your mind? because we should go before i change my mind"

Hope shook her head but then nodded "i wann-i wanna see him"

I nodded at Roman "but he stays. I don't think you would like Nik ripping your boyfriend's head off"

Hope "he's no-"

Roman shook his head "i'm not her boyfriend"

I nodded "That just got you around 2 more years to live"

Hope slowly pushed me out of the room "come on, let's go"

I laughed. 

She turned to Roman "could you wait here? it won't take long. "

He nodded "okay"

Then she and i walked out of the compound.

Hope "why that change of mind?"

Me "Your father is visiting Declan. Your mom's new lover. Remember when you showed me the drawing you did of him?"

She nodded "Declan has it in the kitchen"

I nodded "i think your father's going to lose his mind when he sees that drawing."

Hope's eyes widened  "you think he's gonna kill Declan?"

i nodded "yes"

We ran into Rousseau's. 

I saw Nik attacking Declan.

I yelled "enough, Nik!"

Hope used her magic to pull Nik off of Declan.

Hope "seriously, Dad?"

Nik looked a her with shocked eyes.

I'm so screwed for that.

Then he compelled Declan "looks like you need to go back to Butcher's immediately. You won't remember meeting me today "

Declan looked around and smiled when he saw Hope "mornin' kid. Um..I'll be back. I forgot to stop by the shank. But saved you a bread pudding in the fridge. your favorite"

Nik looked pretty hurt.

Then Declan left.

Nik didn't look at her "go home, Hope"

Hope scoffed and walked to him "you're not even gonna look at me?. Mom's missing, Dad. I'm scared"

He looked at her "we're too close"

He took a few steps back "i can hear the whispers. You must, too"

Hope "let me help you find her. "

Klaus "if you don't do as i say, i'll have Freya bind you to the compound with a spell. I don't want it to come to that. Go home"

Then he walked past her out.

She looked at me with hope in her eyes "Riri?"

I sighed "go home. I'll talk to him"

She nodded.

Then i walked out. I saw Nik walking around the corner and i speeded in front of him.

He shook his head "are you serious, love? bringing her near me?!"

Me "could stop being such a dickhead?"

Nik " if you understand why i can't be near her"

Me "I'm trying to help you, Nik!"

Nik "you wanna help?"

I nodded "yes"

Nik "Then stay out of my daughter's and mine relationship. "

Me "A relationship you were about to ruin. I'm trying to not let that happen"

Nik "you're not her birth mother so there's no need for you to get involved"

I took a step back shocked and let out a breath. 

Nik sighed "Lo-"

Me "it was a matter of time till you played that card, wasn't it? "

Nik looked away.

I nodded "okay. I'm not gonna get involved into your relationship with her. I'm gonna sit back and watch how you ruin the most important thing in your life. "

He still didn't look at me. 

Me "you know what? screw you, Nik"

Then i walked past him away.
