Arc 3 - Chapter 8: The Slithers of Darkness

Saku had triumphed over Sigma, a profiler who seemingly had studied Saku extensively but with a bit of planning Saku rather easily won...but is now left troubled for a few things that Sigma told him, while Sigma looked...tormented as he stood up "You...You denied me my victory!" he said pointing to Saku

"That's...kinda the point of fighting" said Angel still readying herself

"No, no...this isn't right. All the work I put into has gone to complete waste"

"That's...not fully accurate" said Aeron "your research helped to anticipate Saku's techniques to a point"

"Yet I had no idea he could perform as he did. This new level of power, the sensory ability heck even that psychic power" he pointed again, looking unstable "This isn't something that can be missed!

From the stands, Katsia, Leyla and Zak'ryon looked on "what is it with Saku getting ALL the crazy ones so far?" Zak'ryon remarked

"I have noticed that trend too" said Katsia "But the Emperor is there alongside them, so I can count on the fact nothing should befall them"

"You say that but...stuff has happened under Ozway's watch" Katsia had to agree

"Saku be careful"

Sigma was panting "I watched every video, every study...I meticulously studied for this fight...and I didn't see any of this. I've been cheated, simply as"

"Sigma...no unnecessary moves here" said Ozway firmly "I've had enough of people jumping Saku, so kindly leave"

"I...demand to know, what fate screwed me over"

"Ozway, hmm...do you want to knock him out or something?" asked Saku getting a bit edgy

"Cease and desist now" said Ozway firmly who raised a hand "Final warning"

"I won't...I won't permit this!"

Sigma punched the ground to make strong shockwave, not hurting but simply blasting everyone Ozway included. Aeron righted herself, Angel fell to her back, Saku and Emiko tumbled while Ozway just almost lazily filpped over. Sigma looked to Saku "I'll teach you for cheating me! You lied to me!" he charged up an attack "Now begone" Saku got up to defend

"Saku!" but Emiko got into the way, taking the wind attack hard.

Saku froze, as Emiko flew high above him, a pulse running through his body as she was sent into the air "Emiko..." Ozway was not impressed

"Well I tried to be civil" he said with an arm out "Now to put you do-huh?" his hand tickled and his arm the same "What's this all about?" Saku saw Emiko get caught by Angel...but knocked out

"Dammit! I knew that girl helped you cheat" said Sigma confident "Now I know I can win"

"Emiko...Emiko!" called Angel to which Aeron landed trying to rouse her awake. Saku kept watching, frozen for a moment until his fist clenched tightly, his eyes narrowing it and his teeth gritting a bit.

Ozway felt the tickle grow, making him a bit oblivious until he felt an odd warmth in his arm now "This...this feeling" he turned to Saku, who had a look of Anger in his face, his right hand generating a dark flame which made him smile "This could turn a bit ugly" to which he stepped back making Sigma a bit puzzled "Sorry...just getting out of the way"
