"Y/n, why are you still here? Haven't you moved on from our past?" I say cold.
Y/n was confused. "Gus, what happened to you? You used to be warm and caring. Why are you pushing me away?"
"You left me, Y/n. You chose the human realm over our love. I tried to forget you, but my heart couldn't let go."
"Gus, I left because I had to. It was never about not loving you. I thought you understood that."
"Love is a weakness, Y/n. It only brings pain and suffering. I can't afford to feel that anymore.
"But Gus, love also brings joy and happiness. It's what makes us human. Don't shut yourself off from it."
I was touched by that. "How can I trust that you still love me after all this time?"
"Because, despite everything, my heart has always belonged to you. I never stopped loving you, Gus."
"Y/n, I've been so lost without you. Can we find a way to bridge the gap between our worlds?"
"Let's try, Gus. Love can conquer any divide if we're willing to fight for it."
