Chapter 54
I stood there staring uncontrollably at Audrie's car as she approached closer to my house and parked the car right behind mine in the driveway . I lost my form of breathing as I saw the blonde girl with blue eyes that I ran into at the grocery store slowly get out of the passenger side . She shot me a smile that nearly blew me away and I managed to suck a lung full of oxygen through my airways as she approached me slowly . I watched each of her bodily movements as if I really had to memorize them, it went from the way she blinked, to the form of her lips, to the way she swayed her hips as she took each step . Once she was within a few inches away from me she reached her hand out .
"Do you need help with that ?"
I looked down at the struggle I was having with the groceries and looked back up to meet her piercing blue eyes .
"No I got it, thanks anyway ... Uhm, what are y'all doing here ?" I said as I swallowed hard.
Audrie soon came into view and came in between us.
"We can't just visit you out of surprise Spence ?" She asked.
"I didn't say that . Why are YOU here Audrie, out of all people ?"
"Woah, woah . Hold on there tiger, this isn't about me and you if that's what your thinking . I just wanted to formally introduce you to Emilie . We can plan our years worth of pranks later on, before the school year starts ."
I zoned out when Audrie began talking about our traditional pranks we did every year . I'm still paying for those every week suspensions or detentions til this day . My dad had to step in and talk the principal out of pressing charges and just let me do community service this summer . And guess what Audrie got ? Yeah, absolutely nothing . I can't believe I use to have a crush of this lunatic, I call my partner in crime. My mind then shifted to Emilie her name was just as beautiful as she was . I can't keep my eyes off of her .
"Earth to Spencer !"
I shifted my gaze to Audrie .
"Close your mouth and take us inside so that I can see my favorite little girl ."
"Audrie, you know where the door is . Can I talk to Emilie for a second if you don't mind ?"
She rolled her eyes, " Well excuse me, I didn't mean to "cut in " ."
And with that she marched her way into my house to greet my little sister Mia . Her favorite, I sure hope she doesn't have kids later on in her life . She's a bad influence on my sister . I rolled my eyes at her and put my full attention on the already shy Emilie .
" Am I making you nervous ?" I asked as I closed the distance between us .
I heard her suck in a sharp breath and turn her gaze halfway towards me as she looked down awkwardly . I lifted her chin up with my finger and stared deeply into her eyes, I felt a connection towards her that I've never felt towards any girl in my entire life . I heard a heart increase its rate for the first time, as I listened carefully it was mine increasing but then I heard another... and I realized it was hers . I jumped back in amazement and nearly scared her to death .
"Are you okay ?" She asked.
I touched my heaving heart, "Yeah, I'm fine.. why don't you come inside to meet my family ?"
She nodded and linked her arm with mine as we made our way to the front door .

Audrie's POV
Inside I came in face to face contact with my favorite toddler in the world . Mia ! I loved this little girl to death ! Her jet black hair and hazel eyes were just the start of what made me fall in love with her for the first time. She's such a creative little wolf, always making collages with the magazines her mommy told her not to touch or little glittery finished toilet paper rolls . She's such a sweetheart along with it which just warms my heart .
"Audwe ! I've miffed you ! Wook at my queation, its for you !" She smiled that toothless smile .
I took the toilet paper roll and picked her up to sit on my hip as I walked further into the house to see Mrs. Johnson making what looked like roast . She looked up and greeted me with a smile, her jet black hair and hazel eyes are what make her and the special little girl she created so beautiful !
"Oh Audrie, it's been so long ! How's Victoria and James ?"
"My mom is fine ! And my dad will be back here for good in a couple weeks, he's well also ."
Mia began playing with my hair as soon as her mom leaned on the counter. She crossed her arms across her chest and stared at the door for about a minute until Em and Spence came in linked arm in arm . They are going to make a cute couple ! Ugh ! I just can't wait until they become official mates . Mrs. Johnson stood up and turned her shocked but loving gaze towards me, I nodded in response knowing exactly what she was questioning . She cupped her mouth with her hand and walked slowly to the both of them and huddled them into a hug .
"She's so beautiful ." I heard her murmur .
I felt Mia tap my on my shoulder, " Can you put me down pwease ?"
I put her down and she ran as fast as her little legs could carry her until she reached Em's leg and hugged as tight as she could . Em reached down and picked her up sitting her on her hip and bouncing her a little .
"Mom..."
Mrs. Johnson caressed his cheek and hugged Em so tightly I didn't think she'd be alive until she let go and caressed her cheek also .
"Hello." Em greeted .
"Hello honey, I'm Anita Johnson, Spencer's mother ."
"Nice to meet you Mrs. Johnson, I'm Emilie Glover ."
Spencer broke their little moment and insisted that his mother would finish the roast . He placed the groceries on the counter and she got to work . Mia loved Emilie, She didn't stop staring at her or touching her facial features since she got here . Soon after Spence insisted that me and Em go up to his room to talk .
'We can't tell him now !' Em shouted .
'But what was the purpose of coming here if you weren't going to tell him ?'
'Was this apart of your plan ? Telling him ? I thought I was here to SEE him !'
'Uh.. do you think his mom would invite us to dinner ? That roast smelled so good !'
Em shot me an annoyed look as we made our way up the stair to his room . I hopped in the beanbag chair I always sat in when we came over his house and he laughed .
"That chair never gets old huh ?"
"Nope, never !"
Em sat awkwardly on his bed and he sat beside her . We sat in silence for about five minutes and I couldn't take it anymore !
"Look Spence, the reason why we came here is... because I wanted you and Em to meet ."
"That's it ?"
"I mean if you want me to say mo-"
"Yes. That's it Spencer ." Em cut in stealing my thunder.
"Would you like to stay for dinner Emilie ?"
She sighed in relief, "Yes, I'd love to stay for dinner ."
Okay, so I get no invite to dinner ? No, no . A-dawg does not roll like that !
"I'm staying for dinner too ."
"I didn't invite you ."
'Em get your mate before I beat his unwolfie behind to a pulp !'
'But he knows about mates and stuff right ?' She asked randomly.
'Duh Em this is the 21st century . His mom and dad are indeed werewolves .'
'Do you think he noticed the "spark" we have ?'
'There's only one way to find out .'
I got out of the beanbag chair and walked angrily towards Spencer, before he could realize what I was doing I slapped and shoved him down to the floor before he could think . I shot Em a wink and she was at his side to seconds later . I got my stuff and started to walk out of the room .
"You're driving her home Spencey . Get her there late and I'll hunt you down ! Bye now ." I yelled over my shoulder .
' Have fun kids ! Not too much because I'm two seconds from putting that pregnant wolf in our house out . Keep your clothes on and enjoy your mate ! '
She growled, 'You're so embarrassing ! Go park the car at home and stay outside of his house just in case I need you and I can't handle the closeness between us.'
'Okay ! Got it !'
'Oh and Audrie .'
'Yeah ?'
'Me and you still have to have the sex talk about mating with Neal .'
I stopped as I made my way to my car and turned around to face Spence's bedroom window . She was right there smirking playfully and sticking her tongue out .
"You wouldn't ." I growled.
"Oh . Yes. I . Would ." She mouthed from the window as she leaned back in his room and closed the curtains.
She is so in for it when we get home !
