[Location: Homunculi Hideout]
It was quiet.
Eerily quiet.
I made sense since all seven Homunculi had been defeated and killed though.
Stepping out from the shadows came the only resident of this place
This tall, old looking blonde man was always referred to as Father by the Homunculi as he was their creator.
Father simply walked to his throne and sat their, sighing.
He never expected all 7 of his creations to be gone so quickly.
"Lust and Gluttony, defeated at the hands of Black Jack members Becky Lasses and Marie Weiss. Envy, defeated at the hands of Hyperion valkyries Raiden Mei and Bronya Zaychik. Pride, defeated at the hands of other Hyperion valkyries, Kiana Kaslana and Murata Himeko. Wrath and Greed, both defeated at the hands of Alex Mustang. And finally, Sloth, defeated at the hands of the Elric Brothers." Mumbled Father to himself, lasting out all the Homunculi and the ones who wound up slaying them.
"While it is unfortunate to not have any of them here with me, they did buy me enough time to finish preparations for my plan." Said Father with a chuckle as he turned to face a map of Gamindustri, with something odd on it
(Yes I drew on a map on Gamindustri. Don't judge me okay? I legitimately tried my best to not suck.)
On the map was giant pentagon with another inside it and upside down.
3 corners of the pentagon were marked right on Planeptune, Lastation, and Lowee while the bottom two corners made a line that went right through Leanbox.
"All the tunnels are set. Once the time comes I'll be ready to become whole once again." Said Father.
Another thing was that Father had a red dot on the map which was marked with HQ and the word isolate next to it.
"Step 1 should be simple enough. Isolate the target. Cut all of it's ties with everyone. Once that is accomplished, the other steps will fall into place as easy as dominoes." He said.
After putting the map away, Father set the map away and looked at another list with the title, "Sacrifices" on it.
"Let's see. Alex and Roy Mustang. Edward and Alphonse Elric. Hmm. That just leaves one sacrifice left to pick from....."
Father went quiet for a bit until his mind came across one certain individual as he chuckled to himself.
He began to add the name Kunsil on the sacrifice list.
"There we go. All five sacrifices hand selected. Of course that'll come in due time."
Minutes went by as Father continued to plan out whatever he was doing until he eventually stopped as he smiled to himself as he finished.
Father walked back to the throne and sat as he smiled, speaking his last words for the night.
"At last. The day of reckoning is upon us."
[The Next Day]
Alex was having a peaceful sleep for the first time in a while.
It had been hard to get adjusted back to normal life after going through so many time hijinks trying to end Kevin's false reality.
Weeks had passed since then and Alex still was a bit tested as he was always a bit off.
Recently though he seemed to have gotten back into the swing of things as he had finally gotten a good night of sleep.
Unfortunately it didn't last long as Alex was suddenly shaken awake by Akari as she shook him quickly while also spouting out words at an unbelievable fast pace.
Eventually Alex had managed to calm his mom down.
"Okay. Explain me to why you woke me up this way?" He asked.
"I-it's Jackie! She just suddenly packed up hee things and left the apartment! She also shouted that she never wanted to see us again!" Said Akari, tears in her eyes.
Alex was immediately confused by the sudden change of attitude from the Black Jacks' leader.
"Jackie did that? Why?"
"S-She didn't explain! All she said was turn on the news and watch!"
Alex had to calm Akari down again to stop her from crying as he went to the living and turned on the news.
The headline he saw shook him to his core.
"Multiple Base Kamno employees dead in deadly shoot out. Witnesses says Black Ops members started the altercation and caused the deaths"
'Wait what? Were there some left overs from when Wrath was in control? No that can't be possible. They were all sent back to Amestris.' Thought Alex.
He knew that the Lastation media would always come up with lies against HQ just to nag on them at least once a day but this is different.
Yes the media hated HQ but even Alex knew that they had to draw the line somewhere.
As Alex took a look at the provided photographs and video evidence of the assault, he noticed something off about the supposed "HQ" members that being which the logo they had wasn't even theirs but instead Amestris.
Unfortunately with how big this story was it was obvious that they weren't gonna focus on that little detail at all.
As coverage went on, Alex received a call from his Uncle Roy as he picked up.
"Hey kid. You seen the news yet?" Asked Roy.
"Yeah I have. What the hell's going on? This is way too sudden." Said Alex.
"Trust me even I know that. I've asked basically everyone here and they swear they were never in the city to begin with. Obviously we gotta trust our men. I'm saying this under the assumption you noticed the inaccuracy in the video right?" Asked Roy.
"I did. Clear as day. Wrong cloak and wrong logo. Those belonged to the Amstrian Military. Not us." He said.
"Correct. Regardless, with how big this story is, it's likely that the little detail will be ignored. As of now, Jackie has dropped out of the partnership pact we formed back after the HQ raid. We just gotta hope that Jackie will look at the tape closer and that nothing bad happens with Hyperion." Said Roy.
"Yeah. That sucks." Replied Alex.
"It's all we can do at the moment. Just keep your head up for now. We'll see how this turns out. Talk to you soon kiddo." Said Roy as he hanged up.
Alex lowered the phone and sighed hoping that this would be it.
