Chapter 6| Different

We were having breakfast together. Suddenly aunt Jeon said,

"Kkum-ah. Ask your mom if she has time to go shopping with me this week."

"Of course" I replied.

"Also you children should hang out" she said again.

"We already hang out a lot more than you think" Jungkook said and got up from the table,

"I need to go to work. I will take your leave now."

I held his hand and made him sit back down.

"Finish eating first" I said and continued to have my breakfast.

Aunt Jeon smiled.

I was waiting for my car and was roaming around the house alone. I sighed looking at our old pictures in the corridor. There were our group pictures too.

"I wasn't even born at that time, right?" Jiah said standing beside me.

"No, Jiah. Don't you have school today?" I asked her.

"No. I was too tired so mum asked me to not to go to school today" she replied.

"Then do you want to go to the hospital with me?" I asked her.

"Woah! Can you do this?" She beamed.

"Of course. I'm in a pretty good position in the hospital ya know?" I bragged.

"I wanted to go to the hospital too because I want to be a doctor like you" she said getting excited.

"Aww. But why so?" I asked.

"Remember? You said that our hearts get stronger each time we save a person" she said and I nodded.

"I want to have a strong heart too" I smiled after she completed.

At the hospital:

"Dr. Park" I looked back to see a nurse.

"Is that your younger sister?" She asked indicating Jiah.

"Yes" "No" I and Jiah said respectively.

"I'm not your younger sister. I mean that I wish to be but still I can't" Jiah said helplessly.

The nurse laughed and said,

"You both are so beautiful so I got mistaken."

"It's really natural" I bragged again.

"Jiah!" I looked at the owner of the voice and saw the person whom I didn't want to see the most right now.

"What now?" I asked Jungkook.

"Isn't he the best computer programmer of South Korea?"

"Not just in our country. He also received many trophies overseas."

"Really?"

"He is so handsome."

The hospital staffs started gossiping but I ignored them.

"I'm not talking to you" he said and Jiah was already hiding behind me.

He rolled up his sleeves and came towards us. Why does he look so tired?

"You might wanna roll that back down" I said pointing at his sleeves.

He took another step and I pushed him back.

"Don't you dare" I warned him.

"I'm her brother."

"Then why is she afraid of you?"
