Chapter 11| Tremble

"Can I touch her?" Kkum asked when Jungkook first brought her to meet Jiah.

"Of course" Jungkook said.

Kkum touched Jiah's delicate cheeks.

"It's so soft" She said, still mesmerized by baby Jiah.

"Just like yours" Jungkook said and pecked her cheek.

"Huh?" Kkum just stood there confused.

At present:

"Excuse me!"

"Please, make some way."

"Move!"

Jungkook shoved everyone from in front of him as soon as he reached the hospital.

He wanted to cry. But he could not do it. He needed to see Kkum right now.

"Where is she?" Jungkook asked to Hoseok as soon as he found him.

"You need to calm yourself down, first."

"Where the heck is Kkum?" Jungkook raised his voice this time.

"She has not come to her senses yet" Jimin answered to Jungkook.

He patted Jungkook's shoulder.

"Take a seat" he said to him.

"It's all because of me" He started blaming himself.

"What?" Jimin asked.

"What did the doctor say?" Jungkook asked again.

Jimin knew the condition of Jungkook and Kkum's current relationship. But he still could understand Jungkook's state right now.

He knows that Jungkook has his reasons too. Otherwise Kkum and Jungkook are the same best friends from their childhood.

"They haven't found any internal injury. So she should wake up soon but she isn't waking up" Jimin's voice faded at the end.

"Can I see her?" Jungkook asked helplessly.

"Yes" Jimin responded.

Kkum was lying down in her hospital gown. Jungkook felt so lost seeing her like that. It seemed like he was the reason for Kkum's state right then.

Jungkook sat beside her bed.

"I am so sorry" he muttered holding her hand.

He kissed the back of her hand and shedded tears on it.

He could bear everything but this.

"Talk to me, Kkum" he said.

But there was no response.

Taehyung chugged up the 5th bottle of beer today. He was drinking in the daytime.

For some reason he was not himself at all. It happened from last night.

"Ugh!" he exclaimed. The frustration got to him.

"Come on Taehyung! Why are you still here?" Haesun said as she sat onto his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I need some time" Taehyung said and looked at her.

He realised that he did not even know the name of the girl.

Why was he hanging out with her then?

"Please please. Let's have some fun. I can assure you that I can take your mind off of whatever is making you drink now" she whispered into Taehyung's ear.
