Cheryl's pov

Toni stopped at a small trailer in the south side. Luckily there was no one around to see me in this dump.

"Look this is the only place I could bring you without anyone else seeing us." Toni helped me off of Jugheads motorbike.

I must have been unable to hide my expression.

"Where is everyone?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"At some meeting for the mayor candidates. Go inside I left the door open I'll just go leave this for Jughead."  Toni pointed towards the trailer in front of me.

I gave her a small forced smile and headed up the three steps that led to the door. When I opened the door it wasn't what I was expecting at all. It smelled like roses and vanilla and it was clean, not just clean but immaculate. My eyes widened as I looked around me. There was a small kitchen attached to the living room. I walked towards the kitchen and found a door just off of it and opened it. It was a bathroom, there was a small white shower with a glass wall around the shower. I closed the door and headed for the next. I opened it slowly revealing what assumed to be Toni's bedroom. There was a double bed in the far right and a TV sitting at the wall opposite. A dark wooden set of drawers and and line of black boots, sneakers and slippers beside it. I couldn't help but be drawn back to the bed. It had only been two nights but the bed I had was like sleeping on the bed of nails.

"Do you always snoop around other people's house when they're not home?" I turned round and Toni was standing behind me.

"I was just.."

"Its fine. We need to figure out what we do now, they're going to tell your mom what happened." Toni sat down on the couch and I made my way back through the kitchen and sat beside her.

"You know this isn't what I was expecting." I confessed.

"Let me guess you were expecting a smelly old trailer filled with dirt and garbage that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years?"

"Something like that." That's exactly what I thought. "Do you live here by yourself?"

"Yeah my parents weren't exactly the type to stick around. I don't really care though I have the serpents and they're my family now."

I smiled slightly before remembering my current situation.

"I'm going to need to go before my mom tracks us down. I just don't know what I am going to do. I can't go back to that place."

"You need to stand up you her Cheryl you can't let her bully you or send you away." Toni placed her hand on mine and I could feel electricity rushing through my whole body beginning and ending on the hand she had touched.

"I'm not the same girl I was when I burned down Thornhill or cut off her oxygen."

"That's right you're not because now you have me here with you. This time you're not alone."

I couldn't help but smile at her fierceness. My mind suddenly began to think about the kiss and I held back my smile. A few moments had passed before either of us spoke again.

"Have you ever thought about getting emancipated?" Toni asked.

"It had crossed my mind a few times, it just feels like I'd be losing a part of JJ if I did."

"Cheryl you could never lose any part of Jason. He'll always be a part of you." Toni squeezed my hand.

Tears escaped from the corners of my eyes. Toni gently wiped them away with one finger. I lay my head down on Toni's shoulder and she rested her head on mine. After a couple of minutes I stood up. Toni looked startled at me.

"Let's get this over with."
