{Caylyn's POV}

"Where everyone else?" I ask.

"They're at the movies...you should get some rest." He gives me a kiss on the forehead. I feel better knowing that my dad isn't mad at me anymore. He's never really yelled at me or any of us, like that. I fall asleep and wake up to Cayleigh on my couch.

"So.......what happened?" She asks laying next to me.

"Test came back positive."

"Are you serious?" I nod. "Did you tell him?"

"Derek?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah, I did, and the asshole said it wasn't his."

"Is he serious? He's the only person you've been with."

"I know..but he doesn't have to worry about it."

"Why not?"

"I didn't keep it."

"For real?"

"Yeah. Mom decided it was best...and she was right. I'm not ready for that kind of responsibility. I barely kept my goldfish alive."

"Yeah....Charlie did live a rough life." She says.

"Wasn't my fault okay. We were always gone playing basketball, and mom always forgot to feed him sometimes."

"So what now?"

"Nothing really. I can't workout for a while...And I'm calling off things with Derek. His response told me everything I needed to know about him."

"Damn....sorry about how all this went down for you sis."

"It's fine. Just gotta learn from my mistakes."

"Did the old man find out."

"Yeah, and went crazy. But he's cool now. We talked about it."

"And it went well?"

"Surprisingly."

"Soooo, you're okay?"

"Yeah, I'm good. You shackin up in here tonight or what?"

"Don't I always."

"Yeah.."

"I still question why we have separate rooms."

"Because there are times when I simply can't stand you." She says.

"The feelings mutual boo."

"Dad just text me, saying there's pizza downstairs." She says.

"I really don't feel like getting out of bed."

"I'll bring you a slice."

"Make it 3."

"Wow. I can only imagine what your appetite would be like if you did keep the baby."

"Too soon for jokes dude.....too soon."

"Sorry sis."

"Mmmhm."

******************************

I wake up the next morning around 9. Cayleigh's still on my couch, asleep. My phone starts vibrating. I reach over to grab it off the charger, I look and Derek's picture is on the screen. I roll my eyes before answering.

"So now you want to talk?"

"Look-"

"Just save it. I don't care to hear what you have to say, because obviously what I had to say yesterday was not important to you. Just know that I took care of the situation, and we are no longer together."
