Mina's POV
"You told him?" The eldest gave my shoulder a squeeze. "Good for you!" She took my hair tie off and fixed my ponytail. "I do have to agree with him and Taehyung that you did put too much on your plate."

"Thanks." I sighed. "I do agree, but what can I say? I have a hard time saying no. To pretty much everything, especially when I'm looking forward to it." I moved my hands around to explain. "Hyejin eonni's practice was first, but halfway into them, Bangtan's started. When they ended, the guys filmed. Then it was the shows and you girls. I'm practicing with Jessi this weekend for her performance. Then it's just at the galas, but we have a few numbers to run.-"

She put her hand on my head. "You really are a maknae! You're acting like Hyejin. Don't move! I'm trying to make it smooth." She laughed at herself. "Solar eonni's got you." She tied my hair. "I still can't believe Byuly is gonna marry him. Can you believe it?"

I genuinely could. "They make so much sense to me. They're so alike." Now that I thought of it.. "Do you have anyone like that in your life?"

"Nosy? We're rubbing off on you." She was all smiles. "I have not."

"Call me surprised. You're so kind, well spoken, funny, talented.. If no one is interested, they're blind." She chuckled at my comment. "I swear! Unless you don't want a relationship. I can understand that."

She rose her hands up. "Thank you! She's been talking my ears off about it. I'm focusing on my career. If it happens, it just does. You know as much."

I did. "And I respect you for it, eonni. Your hard work pays off. You're living off your music. Just that deserves a Daesang if you ask me."

She laid a hand on my shoulder before opening the door to the other half of her duo. "You're sweet, thanks."

"I mean everything I say."

Moonbyul apologized. "I'm late! I know. I'm sorry."

I shrugged. "We said to be there at 9 to chat. You're not late for practice."

She winked at me. "Thanks, I feel less guilty. I got caught up in finding a date with Hobi. We can't agree on a season because of our tour dates."

Ouuuuh. I did love wedding talk. "What seasons are open on your schedule for now? The guys don't have their dates yet, don't they?"

Namjoon's POV
"I want winter, but she says it's in the middle of her tour. She said she'd rather do spring 2028. What do you think?"

"I get why she wouldn't want winter next year. It's a good reason." Jin hyung, the obvious best man pitched in.

"You can always wait two years. But I don't think the wait is her issue. Think of how nice an outdoor wedding is in spring? The colours, the temperature." She seemed very classic and proper, but if you knew her she adored spring and winter. "Maybe she wants you wedding to have a date that is not near your birthdays."

He frowned. "Huh.. I didn't see it that way. What would you do?"

I choked my laugh before I drank my water. "Why are you asking me? It's your event."

He pouted. "Just play along!"

"Fine!" I put my glass down. "I'm talking from my wants only. I'd say.. Spring or fall. The colours are beautiful. It's either at the new beginning of the soil, fresh, young.. or it's when the Earth settles down, bright, yet muted, calm, ethereal.."

"You're a sucker for fall."

Now I laughed. "I am. I really am. I'd do the vows outside and the party inside a place of architecture.. Something that is so peculiar and stunning you don't need much more decor elements."

He seemed surprised. "You thought about this. I thought you'd stop at seasons."

I had. "I don't believe in marriage the same way you do. I believe in love and commitment. If it comes with a wedding, it does. If it's legal papers, it is. If it's underlying trust, it will be that."

"You're becoming a grand romantic~"

"Pfff... I'm not. I don't do grand romantic gestures."

He gave me a look. "You bought her plane tickets and let her live with you six months ago."

"She was my friend! I was being nice."

He went on. "You planed her dresses for the galas. You brought her to a vernissage."

"Because it was one less thing to think about and she never went to one! It's caring and kind, not romantic."

He rolled his eyes at me. "Sure, let's say it's true. What's romantic to you?"

"Writing a song about the one you love, go on dinner dates.."

"I'm sure she has a longer list about things you did." He paused. "What does she do that's romantic to you?"

That, I had a list. "When she makes me coffee if she wakes up first, stopping at the store if she sees something is empty, painting after we held a somewhat controversial conversation.. Her honesty. That may be more charming than romantic."

He frowned. "Don't slouch or you'll end up looking like my old cadavers in my anatomy classes. You find that charming?"

I did. "Don't you like when people don't beat around the bush?"

He shrugged. "When I work. At home, I like that Byuly manages my feelings."

"Because you don't share your work until it's done. You're both excited for new content. When I ask for an opinion, I want an honest one. She's brutal at times, but her duality is what makes her great. For facts, it's black or white. Opinions are in so many shades of grey for her. A bit like a tree with branches that divide in different scenarios. It's amazing."

He muffled his giggle. "I'll believe you on that. I never heard her be opinionated in that way. Kookie talks about it sometimes, though."

I frowned. "You didn't watch her interview?"

"I was planning my PROPOSAL, Namjoon. Ever thought of that?"

Meh, details.
