Meanwhile, at the Dupain-Cheng residence, Sabine was coming up the stairs to see the work that Tom, Luka and Marinette had done on the nursery corner. Marinette had gotten the box of her old toys from the kitchen too and put her old rattle, teething toy, Chester the cat plush and Princess Fairy Sparkles on the bookshelf as well.
‘These are my old toys I’m donating to my new baby brother or sister’ Marinette smiled as she put them on the shelf.
‘That one reminds me of you as a knitting fairy’ Luka said softly as he pointed to Princess Fairy Sparkles.

‘I told you not to tell anyone about that!’ Marinette hissed, not angrily though.
‘There’s nobody else here right now...’ Luka smiled playfully as he grabbed her gently around her waist and nuzzled her neck from behind.
‘True...’ she replied, enjoying the sensation. They both sighed happily, Luka loving holding her in his arms and Marinette loving the feeling of how safe he made her feel. Like nothing could ever hurt her.

Then there was a knock at the door. ‘Marinette sweetie? It’s Mom. Your Dad sent me up to see the nursery corner.’
‘Oh sure Mom!’ Marinette smiled as Luka let her go to open the door.
‘Welcome to Babyland!’ Marinette smiled as Sabine came in and she motioned to the corner of the room where the crib, change table and bookcase stood, now adorned with all of Marinette’s accessories.
‘Oh... Marinette...Luka, it looks absolutely gorgeous! Especially now you’ve put all your toys and a lovely blanket and bunny, where did you get those?’ Sabine asked.
