Amber meanwhile, was having breakfast out on the back patio in the lovely and warm Spring sun. She was still wearing her pyjamas but wearing her unicorn slippers as well.

As she ate her Cheerios with chopped banana on top with milk, she looked intently at the dance floor and marquee which was still set up, awaiting the removal from the hire company later today

‘Yes sweetie?’ Daniel replied, still looking at his paper.

‘How come you and Mom never built anything in this big backyard?’ Amber asked him.

Her Dad slowly lowered his paper as he thought about it.

‘Well, from memory, we wanted to, but as you were growing up you loved running around the backyard and pretending it was your own private jungle island. You used to pretend you were Dora the Explorer and had your little Boots doll and a backpack and you drew your own maps and went exploring. It was very cute!’
