Dear Diary,

Today has been so tiring that I can't describe it! We arrived at the airport at 2am. In England it would be 6am. Our flight would take 8 hours so when we arrive in London, it will be 2pm. We had a big day ahead. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for our jet to be ready. In that time, we were able to buy something from Starbucks and I was able to buy a copy of a magazine.

The magazine said on it: The American Dream and then it said underneath that: Dayna of Cambridge and John Kennedy have a moment in Arlington. I read it on the plane. There was the photographs of Kate and I and then one of us all standing holding hands and then there was about 100 of Jack and I sitting on the steps talking.

The plane took off at 2:15am. I waved goodbye to Washington. During the take off, I could see the Eternal Flame. I whispered: "Goodbye JFK and Jackie. Thanks". We were homeward bound. I slipped into something casual and I took a nap in my private bedroom.

When I woke up, we were an hour and a half from London. Kate suggested I get changed into something smart for our landing. I brushed my hair and I looked in my wardrobe. I slipped on a yellow V-neck burnout tee from Topshop and some black skinny jeans. I also put on some Converse and Kate and William opted for a casual look too.

We landed at Heathrow at 2pm. We arrived back at Kensington Palace at 2:30pm. When I dashed upstairs, I ran into George's room and Maria and George were there! "Maria!" I called out. George laughed and he crawled over to me. I bent down and picked up George! "George!" I hugged him. Maria came over.

"How was America?" she asked. "Oh it was wonderful!" I smiled. I hugged her and George and I was so happy to be home. "I'm so glad to be home though. Until 4pm, we packed away all of our things including the things that had been shipped home beforehand. At 5pm we had dinner. Then we remembered the Oval Office desk Kate and William had got me!

It was in a crate downstairs in the basements. All three of us helped lift it upstairs. It was a tough job! We have no idea how much it weighed but it was heavy for sure! We pushed it upstairs. Kate and I stood at the top and we pulled trying to get it onto the flat ground. William and Maria pushed from the bottom.

After about 5 steps Maria cried out "Es demasiado pesado!". That means "It's too heavy!". I translated and we all agreed. A few more members of staff helped push and pull too and we finally got it up the stairs. Then we pushed it up from the basement onto the ground floor. We then pushed it upstairs again.

When we finally pushed it upstairs. I tried pushing it. It seemed easier than it looked because it was on flat ground. "Go on, slide it into your room" William said. "Alright!" I smiled. I pushed and I ran. It slid through the door smoothly and cleanly and I ran and it slid along my floor into my room. I then stopped suddenly. "Woah!" I cried. Kate and William looked in shock and I stopped suddenly and because of that, I went flying in the air and I slid along the desk and slid off the other side.

I landed on my stomach but I was alright. I got back to my feet and gave a thumbs up. "That went well" I sighed. Kate, William and I then turned it into position. We put it not directly but near the foot of my bed and we moved all of the things off my old desk. It was taken away and I don't know where to though.

I sat in my chair behind the desk and I felt proud. "And look!" I smiled. Kate and William watched with curiousity as I climbed under the desk. When I got under there, I saw the little knob to open the secret door. I opened it and sat there smiling. Kate and William laughed and I then shut the door and waved. "Bye bye" I said in a childish voice and they laughed even more.

I got back into my seat and we decided to get into our pyjamas. We then headed into the living room. We watched a film and then we stayed up really late playing with George. I am glad to be home in England. I do miss Jack and Kate says it's great that he can come over later in the month. And so is William. He will adore George, I know it!
