Part 3

Dear Diary,

I woke up this morning and I looked at the time on my new alarm clock I bought yesterday. Kate and I went to Oxford Street as well as Harrods. (That's where I got most of the Disney and furniture things).  Anyway, I woke up and I headed into my en-suite. I had a quick shower, and I let my hair dry naturally. I need to buy a hair dryer as well! I put it in a plait when it dried quite a lot.

I then checked my phone and had 1 new message. I supposed it would be from Anna and I guess, I am psychic!

Anna: Dayna! You didn't come home last night! Mum and dad found out you weren't home but didn't seem worried. However I am! Your my little sister! Why can't you come home?

This time, I knew Anna wasn't joking. I didn't want to tell Anna and I never will! Maybe when I'm older but not now. I knew I couldn't let her know that I was still in London! As I knew she would leave the house at night and come looking for me. I just texted her saying:

Me: Anna. I understand I didn't come home and I can't. I'm just now at Kings Cross. I'm on the last train to Doncaster. On the day, I didn't come back, I had my credit card with me for school and I used some money from there. Come on the next train tomorrow to Doncaster and get me but I am not going home!

That was sure to make her quiet for a while. Anyway, I then headed downstairs for breakfast. I saw Kate come downstairs carrying George. "Hi George" I ran towards them. George looked at me and laughed. I put out my finger and he held onto it. Kate took him downstairs and sat him in his high-chair.

I was sitting next to him so I saw every move. At one point he started pulling at my hair. I laughed and went along with it. Then I was allowed to feed him. "Here comes the aeroplane" I held up George's tiny spoon. I started making aeroplane noises and feeding George was pretty easy. He laughed every time and hit the table with him tiny hands.

Eventually, I headed upstairs to get dressed. I put on a nice Topshop outfit and then Kate took me into a special room. There stood the hairdresser! I was going to be getting royal treatment.

"Hi! You must be Dayna. Kate has told me about you. My name is Danielle and this is my team of hair and make-up experts" Danielle introduced me to her team.

Danielle and the team then got to work. Danielle curled my hair into a nice glossy look to suit my dark brown hair and Danielle's second best hairdresser Shannon did Kate's hair.

I then got my make-up done. I took one look in the mirror and I looked gorgeous. Even Kate said I did. I then headed back to my room. I got dressed into something casual and because it was nice out, Kate and I went with George out into the Walled Garden. 

Then however after dinner, I was really excited, Kate took me on a treat! She took me a walk through Kensington Gardens and then out to the Diana Memorial Fountain! We both sat paddling and we then on the walk back, talked. 

"Will George learn about Diana?" I asked. Diana was an extraordinary woman and couldn't be forgotten. "Oh George will learn. We can't let Diana not be a part of his life" Kate took my hand. "Just be thankful, you're not in his position" Kate smiled. I agreed. I am grateful I wasn't in George's position. 

It was a really nice day!
