Dear Diary,

So much has been happening these past few weeks. It's now half-way through March. I'm now getting £5 pocket money every Saturday. I put it into my bank account. With the money I saved, I bought two dresses from Notonthehighstreet.com. I bought a replica of Kate's spotty blue dress she wore when she left St Mary's Hospital in Paddington with George and William in July lats year and I bought a pink version as well, except the different is, at the front the pink one has a small matching bow.

And I am extremely excited! The Queen says I may accompany Wills and Kate to Australia! I've been to a lot of places but the furthest I've been from home is Spain! Now I'm going to Australia! What more could I ask for?

Now I have even more exciting news! I was allowed to accompany William and Kate to Aldershot for St Patrick's Day celebrations with the Irish Guards. I got dressed into a nice outfit inspired by Kate. She and I wore the same coat, and Kate picked it out for me. And what's more, the gold Shamrock brooch she usually wears, she had a replica made for me.

A car picked us up and we set off for Aldershot. Kate and I would be presenting shamrocks to the guards. We said we'd do half each. Kate and I are like best friends so we hardly ever argue unless we argue with someone else.

All three of us talked about the events during the ride to Aldershot. William is to attend as colonel of the regiment while Kate and I will present the shamrocks. We had a laugh in the car as we said we hoped Kate didn't get her heel stuck in drain like last year!

At the ceremony, the Band of Irish Guards will march onto the parade square at Mons Barracks followed by 300 soliders. And then the Irish Guards mascot Domnhall, the regiment's wolfhound. And Kate and I will present our shamrock to him, together, putting it onto his collar together.

Eventually at 11:16am, we arrived at Aldershot. It was a gorgeous barracks. The national anthem started playing as we entered. We emerged from the car and we started making cheer with the guards.

All of the guards were surprised to see me, but they seemed really cheery. I presented them with their shamrocks and they smiled and spoke to me. After the meeting, we all sat for a picture, with me sitting next to Kate smiling. We were given copies of it later.

After the photograph, we all went into officer's mess and we toasted the event. I however seeing as I'm 12, I got some J20. However I was allowed to try some Guinness. My reaction was a big hit with everyone!

However after a great day, we headed back to Kensington, we slipped on our pyjamas and cuddled up for a movie and three massive Dominoes pizzas.
