Part 44

Dear Diary, 

We have 5 days left in New York before we fly to Washington. Tonight, we had an amazing day. We went out sightseeing. We went to Lower Manhattan and we went to Ground Zero. At 1pm, we went out onto Liberty Island and we went inside the Statue of Liberty! It is a gorgeous monument. 

Afterwards we visited the Empire State, Chrysler building and the Dakota too, all of which are gorgeous buildings. Then we headed in a private car to the Upper East Side and I got my picture taken outside 1040 Fifth Avenue, Jackie Kennedy's former home. Then we headed in our private car to the Highline. 

Now the Highline was amazing. It was a park built over old railway lines. It was gorgeous. We walked the Highline and took in the view. During the walk along, Kate and William told me of another treat. We were going to Madison Square Garden! We were going to see Calvin Harris! I was too excited! 

That night, we opted for a casual look. We had a private box to watch the show. I picked out the clothes I would wear. I picked out a light blue cropped split side tee from Topshop, and some white embroidered daisy mesh shorts from Topshop too. And to finish the outfit, I put on some Ravel flat loafers from Lipsy London. 

We then set off to Madison Square Garden. From our private box, we could see the full stage and everything. I was so excited! The show started and we partied all night! When we got back to the hotel, we flopped on our beds. It was a great night!
