Part 46

Dear Diary, 

To us it was early, but we started packing for Washington. I was told the information for accomodation in Washington. We would be staying at the Arlington Court Suites in Virginia. We would have a penthouse and lots of space for us. Some of our things were shipped out to our suite today. I packed the things I wouldn't need and they were shipped out. 

The souvenirs we had bought in New York, they were flown back to London today and they'll be put in our rooms at the palace. We would unpack them when we got back. 

Today I didn't know what to do as I'd seen pretty much everything in New York. I decided to do a bit more shopping. I set off in the car looking for shops. I then saw some and it was called New York Vintage Inc. I set off in there and left with shopping. They were taken back to the hotel before I set off into Bergdorf Goodman again. I bought a few things from Dolce and Gabbana. I left with a bag of shopping with all of its contents from Dolce and Gabbana. Here is what I bought:

Bag 1:

1. A silver ball-buttoned macrame lace coat

2. An embellished satin dress 

3. A short-sleeve macrame lace blouse

4. Some floral print ankle pants 

5. A red cotton A-line jacket 

6. A red high-waist miniskirt

7. Some cat-eye sunglasses with golden filigree arms 

I then found a Topshop and I bought a white lace panel organza tee and 2 pairs of skinny jeans. I headed back to the hotel and I then loaded all of my new stuff into my case. Some of it was sent back to London but some I kept with me. I then remembered, what would I wear to Arlington? I was going to pay respect to my heroes, so I had to think fast. 

I then ran out again to see what I could wear. I went into a vintage boutique and came out with a total of $50 in my bag. I picked out a black dress with no sleeves at all. I then picked out a black tunic to wear over it and some white kid gloves to go with the outfit. I also looked at my shoes when I got back to the hotel and found I had some black heels so I would wear them. 

I think I won't need to do some shopping for a while!
