Part 73

Dear Diary, 

With William and Kate's next engagement not until July 1st, in 2 days, we went in a private car to stay with Kate's family in their manor house in Bucklebury. It was really warm in London and Bucklebury today. I opted for a summer dress. Pippa and James weren't there but I still enjoyed it. I wore a custom made dress that Katie made for me. 

This time she didn't make me a Jackie Kennedy piece. It was a replica of the Seraphine dress Kate wore last July. When she and William went to Bucklebury with the newly born Prince George, the white dress she wore with the purple flowers printed on it, yes that one. It was a challenge for Katie to make though. 

Now I was really surprised with the Middleton house! When Kate said it was big, I didn't expect what I saw! I call it Bucklebury Manor. The Middletons bought it for £5 million after they thought their old house, was too revealed to the public after they came into the spotlight as Kate Middleton's parents. Their £5 million house is very fancy. 

It is in a peaceful and picturesque location. It is built on 18 acres of land so it has a massive garden. There is also a tennis court, a swimming pool and a library. And it is a Georgian property with 7 bedrooms! I have my own. It is very regal and I love it! In my bedroom, there is double beds but I don't mind.  There is a bedroom for William and Kate, one for George, one for me, one for Pippa, one for James and one for Carole and Michael. There is also one guest room. 

I am to stay for three days as William and Kate will be leaving in two days for an engagement. I will go back with George to the palace. Well let's describe it so far. 

When I got there, I stayed in my dress and I headed off into the gardens. I came across the spot that William and Kate got their royal portraits with George taken. I then came across the spot where they got the one with Lupo in it. There was a fur throw there and I sat down in the shade. I looked out onto the grass, sitting my head on the tree. 

Eventually Kate came out with Carole and Michael. Michael was equipped with his camera and he decided to take some photographs of us. We got some taken and they were gorgeous. They reminded me of the photograph taken of Jackie Kennedy, with her mother Janet and her sister Lee taken in 1946.

After a few photographs were taken, we went inside to get ready for dinner. We all sat in comfy clothes for dinner. Eventually after dinner, I sat in the living room with Carole before Michael came in followed by Kate and then, in emerged Pippa! I squeaked and ran to her! "Pippa!" I squeaked. "Oh it's so good to see you!" We said in unison as we hugged each other. 

Pippa came in. "Oh it's great to be back in Bucklebury again" Pippa smiled. Pippa and I sat down and then we got into girly talk.

"So! Have you been taken to Washington for dinner with the President accompanied by an Ambassador and her son yet?" Pippa joked. "Ha. Very funny" I laughed back. "My friend Rachel lives in New York and when you were over there, she said she saw you with him a lot!" Pippa smiled. 

"Really?" Carole asked. I said to both of them "Yes we are in a romance". "Has he kissed you?" Pippa asked. "Several times" I smirked. Pippa was really happy for me. "And Jack's family is really nice. Besides, they like hearing what it's like over in Britain. You wouldn't really know his mum was an Ambassador if you met her" I said twiddling my hair. 

"Jack? You call him Jack now?" Pippa leaned forward listening for more. "Yes because that's his name. And he goes to Yale! And he's starting back up on August 19th. So I'll probably not get to see him until maybe autumn or Christmas time" I smiled. Pippa was really happy for me. Then we had a good night! 

We sat down to watch a movie. We sat in our onesies, that Carole bought us specially and we watched a movie. We sat with a bowl of popcorn each and watched old black and white films. We watched Breakfast at Tiffanys which I love. 

We eventually settled into bed. However I stayed up another while writing this and also having a quick phone call to Jack. It was 7pm EST (Eastern Standard Time, the American time zone which New York is in). He says he has to go back to Yale on August 19th. He will however call me all the time and he'll try and visit me on his October break. 

I quickly told Kate before she went to bed and she says that's great. However I have another two days to focus on at Middleton Manor! Goodnight!
