Dear Diary,

So much has happened in the past day and a half that I cant explain it! This morning on 6th April, we left for New Zealand. We left on a private jet from Heathrow. We would have to land in Sydney before changing flights to go to New Zealand.

I woke up at 8am this morning and I got dressed. I put on some grey joggers, a Hollister fleece and some white Converse. Kate and I were yawning. We left Kensington Palace at 9am. We boarded a private jet and we took our seats. On the plane there was two bedrooms and a relaxing area. I went into my private bedroom and took a nap.

I came out and joined William and Kate shortly before take-off. I brought on my carry on luggage, my JFK book I had bought beforehand. I sat and read it and eventually, we took off.

During the flight, I took another nap. We'd be landing in Australia at 6am and we'd board our plane to New Zealand at 8:20. I slept for at least two hours and I eventually joined Kate in the relaxing area. "It's like Air Force One" I smiled. Kate laughed. "I've always dreamed of what it WOULD be like to be a First Lady of America" Kate smiled.

"I wouldn't mind being Jackie Kennedy, I just wouldn't like to have lost my husband when I'm only 34" I sighed. Kate agreed. "What are you wearing to Wellington?" Kate asked. I'd taken a lot of inspiration from Jackie Kennedy's outfits. The outfit I'd be wearing when we landed in Wellington would be inspired by the black and yellow dress she wore when the President of Peru came to visit the White House.

I was wearing a yellow dress, a black blazer, some black glossy heels and to very vintage, a yellow matching pillbox hat. I explained it to Kate and she told me about hers. She showed me it too. "I'm sure what ever you pick will look great" I smiled. "You're will look like you've just stepped out of an issue of Harper's Bazaar" Kate told me.

We also discussed on what we should wear for landing in Sydney, as we both agreed, it would look weird for us to be landing in a pair of Hollister joggies and some trainers. Kate thought about wearing the Max Mara wrap dress she wore in February 2013, when she was pregnant with George.

I took a look in my suitcase at what I could wear. I then saw my replica dress of Jackie Kennedy's dress she wore to open the Treaty Room in the White House after it's restoration. It was by A la Carte. I'd wear it and get changed into something more formal. I'd wear a nice black blazer with it and some black shoes.

And I could carry by carry-on bag with me and if it's warm, then I could carry my blazer with my bag. I sat it out and my blazer and would wait. I already knew the plan. Our luggage would be put on the plane in our quarters first and we'd board the plane at 6:30am. We'd be allowed to sit in a private suite with a small cup of tea before setting off on the plane.

I took once again another nap. By the time I'd woken up, we'd already killed off 6 hours, only 13 more to go! I practised my Maori and I seemed perfection. I also spent an hour with George so that was 8 hours gone.

I made sure I had everything packed. Eventually, Wills called me through. He said he was taking photographs of us on the plane. He took one of me, reading On the Road in my casual clothes, one of Kate with George and one of us all together.

I took a final nap before I got changed into my outfit for the airport in Sydney. Just before our plane landed, I asked the air hostess what the weather was like.

"It's cleared up Madame. It shall be pretty warm when you depart" May, the air hostess told me. When we departed the private aircraft, I made sure, I had everything with me and I stepped off. I carried my carry-on bag and my blazer resting on top. There was hundreds of paparazzi to greet us. We got inside and we got into our private suite.
