She sits there. Quietly. Still. Unmoving.
She's scared. Alone, in a dark room.
Creak...
She turns around. The noise where did it come from?
"The monster is near," a voice sang, "the monster is here. Here to come and eat you." The voice laughs. "Are you scared Sakura? The monster's here to get you," another sinister laugh.
The girl is frozen. "What did I do? Why is the monster here. Where is the voice coming from?" she thinks.
"The monster is going to come and get you," it sings.
She's shaking. Her whole body is shaking.
"Sakura...the monster is coming closer...and closer...and closer," the last part is screamed.
Another creak...
"He's here," the voice sings.
"Help me. Help me. Help me," she thinks.
"Sorry, but you don't get any help," the voice says in a sing-song voice.
Her face is buried in her hands.
A foot taps her back from behind.
She looks up. "Are you the monster?" she asks the man in front of her.
He nods.
"You don't look like one. What's your name?"
He stares at her with blank red eyes. "Sasuke."
She smiles.
"Something tells me he's not the monster he's claimed to be," she thinks.
