"Hello love" smiled Sirius as he came up to Eloise wrapping his arms around her and pulling her back into his chest.
"Hello" she smiled at him pecking him lightly on the cheek.
"You ready to go?" he asked with a smile
"Yeah let me just grab my coat" she nodded pecking him on the lips and scurrying up the stairs.
Sirius smiled lovingly at her retreating figure and continued to smile at where she once stood even after she disappeared up the stairs.
"Sirius Black!" shouted Lily from where she was standing in front of the boy making his head snap around to her
"What?" he asked obliviously blinking three times as he snapped out of his daze
"I've been calling your name for the past five minutes!" she huffed
"oh- right sorry" he said grinning sheepishly "what's up?"
"Tonight the girls and I have decided that we're gonna have a few drinks...and well seeing as it was the twins birthday yesterday I-Marlene suggested it might be nice for you and the lads to come along and of course El would like to spend time with her brother"
"El would or you would?" Sirius teased having caught on to her slip up
"I- oh fuck off" grumbled the girl making Sirius laugh but his smile dropped and lily noticed the visibly stressed look on his face. "What's wrong?" frowned the red head.
"I- it's nothing" he sighed
"I don't believe you come on tell me what's wrong" she demanded
"It's just..El talks to you right?" he said sheepishly
"Well duh" snorted the muggleborn "Why'd you ask?"
"Does she love me?" he asked clearly distressed his heart beating faster in his chest and he wasn't sure if he wanted to know the answer.
"I-" started Lily with a sigh "I think so?" she answered but it came out as more of a question that made Sirius' heart sink. "I can see in her eyes that she loves you but I think she's scared..that you're going to hurt her again...she was so..sad when she found out I don't think she will ever get over it" Lily began to explain
"I don't know what I was thinking when I did it I-"
"That's an understatement" scoffed Lily "You wasn't thinking at all, because if you were I'd like to believe that you are a good person and wouldn't do something you know would hurt Eloise. But I don't think you quite understand the severity of your actions. Yes she has forgiven you but your relationship will never be the same again, she will never trust you the same way she used to and will constantly need reassurance because she's always going to be comparing herself to other girls. God knows what she would do if she found out who one of the girls were..by the way how many were there?" asked Lily curiously
