I never thought I would see her again. Especially in this apartment. I want to follow her to the bathroom, but her friend beat me to it. I look at Johnathan and say "why the hell didn't you tell me the girl I'm hooked on is your girlfriends best friend?"
I'm angry. When John lived in Chicago, he was my wing man. He's changed since moving. I can tell and it makes me a little uncomfortable.
"Eli look, I didn't know at all. She keeps to herself a lot. Has for a while. Heck, Annie didn't even know your name." I could knock him out, but I don't. I just roll my eyes.
I hear footsteps and notice Emma coming back in with Angie? Whatever her name is. I'm going to get Emma to talk to me. Gracie of course interjects when I'm about to walk over to her "Emma! What a small world!" And hugs her. That should be me hugging her.
Once she pulls away I walk up to her and Gracie gets the hint. I'm about to say something and she stops me and puts her hand up and says "don't" and walked to the kitchen to help with dinner. This is going to be a lot harder than I thought.
