Red. That's all I see. I'm so angry at any man who does anything to a woman. Especially Emma.
I didn't realize I was I hadn't said anything until she spoke again.
"I... I... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything."
She puts her face down upset. I quickly respond and say "oh, no, Emma. I was just taking in what you said. Any man who does that to a woman is a coward. I hate what he did to you." She just nods her head not making eye contact.
I didn't know what else to do so I just pulled her to me and hugged her. It took her a second to realize what was happening and she hugged me back.
