I look up only to see darkness
The clouds are no longer visible in the sky
The sun, once bright, is no longer there
And the only the only thought running through my head is "Why?"
Street lights illuminate the streets
A thick fog covers the ground
Walking carefully to avoid falling
Staying silent though no one is around
Suddenly the nearest buildings catch on fire
The invisible clouds release all of their rain
Running to avoid the worst of it
Following the street lights down the lane
Reaching a nonburning building to take cover
A figure in a dark cloak runs away
Though concerned for their safety
I'm glad that they didn't decide to stay
The rain lets up a little
As I walk into the mist
Making it halfway down the street
When someone grabs onto my wrist
They drag me though the streets, hood covering their head
I yank my hand away and start to run
They chase me, never reducing thier pace
All the while I'm wishing for the sun
Eventually I'm caught and dragged away
Thrown into what seems like a puddle of mud
Holding my hand out in front of me
Realizing that in truth it is blood
A figure pulls out a gun and shoots me
The pain causes me to let out a loud scream
I jump out of bed, take a deep breath
Thankful that it was only just a dream
