daytrip

i woke up to the feeling of lips on my cheek and i immediately smiled. i looked to my left and saw my husband grinning at me.

"good morning, my beautiful bride," he said.

"chanyeol, i haven't been your bride in 3 days," i said, chuckling.

"ah, that's where you're wrong," he said. "you're going to be my bride for the rest of your life."

"you're so cheesy, i hate you."

"you can't already hate me."

"whatever."

he chuckled and leaned down to kiss me.

"get up, we're going on a trip," he said.

"we're on our honeymoon, that's a trip," i said.

"fine, we're going on a day trip."

"where?"

"now that's a surprise. just get up and get ready, okay?"

he got off the bed and walked into the bathroom so i slowly slid off.

"only been married for 3 days and he's already telling me what to do," i mumbled.

"heard that," chanyeol said, poking his head out into the bedroom.

"good." i stuck my tongue out at him and he did it back before walking back into the bathroom and climbing in the shower.

once we were ready, we left the house and went down to our rented car.

"can you tell me where we're going yet?" i asked as chanyeol started driving.

"no, because it's a surprise," he replied. he grinned and took my hand in his, lifting up to his mouth to kiss it. i chuckled and leaned over to kiss his cheek.

after a few hours of driving, chanyeol pulled into a parking lot and turned to me.

"ready, baby?" he asked.

"i'm very ready," i replied. he got out of the car and walked around to my side to open the door for me. i got out as well and let him take me into the building.

"hello," he said to woman behind the desk in his hesitant english, "my wife and i are here for the 2pm tour."

"oh, yes, what's your name, sir?" she asked.

"park chanyeol." she checked on her computer then smiled at us.

"the tour will begin shortly, feel free to wait in our café area if you'd like," she said. we thanked her then chanyeol lead me to the café and bought some food.

"can you tell me now?" i asked.

"not yet, baby," he said. he kissed me and handed me one of the sandwiches.

half an hour later, chanyeol and got on the tour bus with a group of other people with a tour guide following us.

"hello everyone, thank you for coming and joining us on the hobbit tour set," i turned to chanyeol with wide eyes and he grinned excitedly at me. "we hope you have fun today."

she sat down and the bus started moving. i wrapped my arms around chanyeol's neck and pulled him down to me so i could kiss him.

"i love you so much," i said.

"i love you, too," he replied.

"you're the best husband i could have asked for."

"i'm glad you think so."

i kissed him again then turned away to look at the beautiful new zealand scenery. i can't believe chanyeol actually booked a tour of my favourite movie set. he's amazing.

the tour only took a few hours before we arrived back at the starting point. we thanked the tour guide then walked back to the car where i pulled chanyeol into another hug.

"you're so going to get a special surprise tonight, too," i whispered. he grinned and slammed his lips on mine, rubbing my hips gently. i really do have the best husband.
