Third Person POV

"What about my letter?" Y/N had asked.

The letter.

Levi couldn't help but smile at the thought.

In that letter, it was where she had said she loved him.

It wasn't a happy letter at all.

But he found things about it that he absolutely loved.

Like how she signed her name.

How she said she loved him.

He loved that, without having to say it, she knew that he cared for her.

She was able to read him very very slightly.

And that was amazing to him.

"The letter... I actually didn't read it right after you left. I read it when I got back from work on Friday. I read the first line that morning, but I couldn't bring myself to read it... I did feel like an absolute asshole after reading it though. I basically pushed you farther away when you were opening yourself up to me in the letter. After reading I understood just a little as to why you wanted to leave, I still would have liked for you to actually talk about it with me though. That we could have figured something out together." He said gently to her.

That didn't explain much to Y/N.

"I enjoyed parts of the letter... I liked how you started it with saying I was your favorite human being, who says that?" Levi chuckled a bit.

"I thought it was romantic." Y/N giggled.

"I liked how you showed your vulnerability in that letter. You showed you were hurting. You showed that, yeah it was selfish, but that you truly didn't want to leave. That you wanted to stay here with Pepino and I. That you acknowledge that we indeed go through a really really tough beginning, but that we did make it through, and that we did have good parts." Levi said smiling.

"I loved how you signed your name."

Y/N smiled lightly and began to slightly blush.

"I loved how you wished the best for me and Pepino."

Levi leaned a little closer to her.

"I loved how you called me your number one supporter."

He leaned his forehead on hers.

"And not only did you say it once, but you said it twice..." He said lightly.

"I do too." He said.

Y/N wanted to hear more.

"You do as well to what?" She smiled softly.

"Well now you just want to hear me say it." He said chuckling.

He wasn't wrong.

Y/N did want to hear him say it.

She knew that he felt the same way, just by his actions, but she wanted to hear him say the words.

"Is that a crime?" Y/N joked with him.

"No... its just you haven't said it actually. More just wrote it. So does that really count?" Levi joked.

Y/N placed a light peck on Levi's lips.

"I think it should count." She giggled.

"I don't think it does." Levi smiled at her.

She let out a soft sigh.

"I love you Levi." She said softly to him, holding a soft smile.

"Hey I was supposed to say it first." Levi jokingly complained.

"And yet you were trying to argue with me saying that when I said it, it didn't count." Y/N laughed.

They both felt extremely happy.

Like so much around them had cleared up.

That there was nothing really holding them back from one another.

Y/N was ok with not knowing about the other girl.

She was happy in this moment and didn't want to let it go.

"I love you too Y/N." Levi said.

They smiled at one another.

"I'm sorry for leaving... and for not opening up to you when I should have." Y/N had said to Levi softly.

"And I'm sorry for hurting you and pushing you away." Levi said just as softly.

Y/N lifted up her pinky with a soft smile.

"Pinky promise you didn't mean it." Y/N said.

Levi held out his pinky, interlocked them, and then pulled her into a kiss.

After a few moments, he pulled away.

"I pinky promise that I didn't mean it." He said with a small smile.

For once, for the short time that they lived with one another.

For the short time that they were married.

They saw a bright, loving, warm, happy future with one another.

Even if they were forced into this marriage.

They were happy that they ended up with one another.
